Pirate Warriors 3 is simply the best One Piece game out there. It captures the look and feel of the show perfectly, it is more than welcoming to newcomers and it defies the stereotype of Dynasty Warriors = button-mashing.

The story is convoluted, the single player is short, the immersion is completely gone and there is little replay value, but Killzone 3 still manages to be great despite its shortcomings. It looks great, it plays great and is one of the better shooters out there. But coming off Killzone 2, part 3 could be considered a letdown.

FIFA Soccer 08 is a little overwhelming at first to non-soccer fans but with a deep control system, good graphics, and a bunch of modes, those wanting a full soccer game will be happy.

The golf and courses are challenging enough to keep things interesting, and the variety and abundance of equipment and collectibles added additional incentive to the part of me that likes hoarding new and shiny things.

The Puzzle Fighter mechanics work great, the cast of characters is awesome (even if I didn't know some of them) and there are plenty of modes and options to keep the game going. The infrequency of spark crystals hurts the fun as much as the burst moves help it, and in the end you have a pretty damn decent puzzler in Crystal Crisis.

Other roguelike dungeon crawlers have left me cold in the past (the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games jump to mind), but Z.H.P. has sucked up more of my time than I'd like to admit to.

There is no denying that Mass Effect 2 is a fantastic title and one that people will be talking about for years to come. It's also plain to see that the PS3 port is the definitive version of the game, with graphical upgrades, technical fixes and all that DLC right out of the box.

Despite its control issues and occasional frustrations Gun Showdown is an enjoyable game. It does a good job of creating a classic western lone gunman story and packing it with exciting missions with plenty of action.

It's far from awesome, but it sure is fun.

An interesting stab in a new direction that has its definite flaws, but is still worth the time - if you're willing to give it.

Well worth a rental to get out all your pent up hostilities.

Overall, Dragon's Crown is a very enjoyable game. If you make the mistake of thinking that it's an RPG you may be disappointed, but if you've ever enjoyed arcade side-scrolling brawlers it's very easy to recommend.

Roaming free is just not exciting as it should be as there is not really anything to do outside of beating on the poor townsfolk.

Adam snuck aboard a freighter in the main story of Human Revolution and he had quite a journey aboard that freighter while separated from his team!

By and large, in Warriors of Rock you've got Guitar Hero 5 with a goofy story mode and a metal-heavy soundtrack. For some that will make for a very appealing iteration in the series, but for others it doesn't offer a compelling enough reason to shelve Guitar Hero 5 in favor of Warriors of Rock. I'm sure you know which camp you belong to and can make your decision on the game at this point.

It's been several years since we last heard from the Lee brothers, but it's good to see that they haven't lost their touch for rescuing Marion!

A good mix of an action/adventure game and a traditional fighter. Fans of either genre will find something to enjoy and MK fans will especially enjoy the references to MK lore.

At its core, Fallout 4 is exactly what fans should expect, great storytelling, presentation, and character development with a side of disappointment. The new features just don't seem as polished as they should be, but thankfully don't take away from the overall experience.

Mercury Meltdown is the action gamer’s puzzle game.

More style than substance, but action game fans owe it to themselves to check out this stylish and atmospheric offering.

Overall, despite its shortcomings Mass Effect: Andromeda was an enjoyable experience for me. The first few hours feel like a grind, but you will be rewarded for sticking with it. The game is dragged down a bit by all of the reading that must be done and some overly long conversations, but this is rather typical for the genre. The game really shines when you're exploring an alien world and battling the local fauna, and when you get down to it that's what you really want out of a space-based RPG.

The overall experience with Tannenberg is great. Their downfall right now is low player population especially on the US servers. The saving grace is the locale can be changed and the EU server is usually loaded with players. This of course increases the response time if within the US but is barely noticeable. Another downfall is the lack of differentiation in weaponry for the class selections. It is difficult to tell which set of weapons to choose from which boils down to trial, error, and preference. It's not the end of the world but it would be nice to see stats before making a selection. Anyone remotely interested in a fresh authentic take on a World War series should give Tannenberg a chance.

Episode 5 isn't the strongest in the series, but taken together the five episodes make for a unique and engrossing game.

Hard-core "Civilization" buffs will probably be disappointed in CTP2's lack of evolution of the Civilization series and some of its unbalanced units.

Need For Speed Carbon takes the lead among next-gen street racers.

The game's AI is quite good and provides strong competition at its higher levels. Four different difficulty settings should help players new to war gaming to get their feet wet, though.

Argh, it's good to be the pirate king! But it'd be even better if you could do some of the plundering yourself.
