Grand Slam Tennis 2 is EA Sports' attempt to dominate yet another sports genre, but the title faces hard rivalry in the existing Virtua Tennis and Top Spin series. The game features a nice selection of official stadiums and competitions, but does not really present anything new of interest that has not already been done by the competition. Still, the implementation of Move functionality is promising, and together with a solid online service it should lead to some interest from fans of the genre.- Gamer.no

This is a very enjoyable shooter with lots of action, amazing graphics and a wonderfully authentic cyberpunk-atmosphere, but it's somewhat let down by an erratic difficulty and a relatively short campaign.- Gamer.no

Team 17's bloodthirsty invertebrate are once again on the warpath, but 3D graphics on a 2D plane, new squad mechanics and water physics do little to make this feel like a true step forward. More like a step to the side.- Gamer.no

The Surge is a surprisingly fun hard core hack-and-slash experience. It offers a grim story and great level design, but does not quite manage to reach the heights and overall quality and offering of its main competitors - the Soulsborne games.- Gamer.no

Far Cry 6 does little to innovate and bring the series forward in a new and exciting direction, despite the beautiful island of Yara and the decent gunplay.- Gamer.no

It's lovely and beautiful, and the attention to detail is wonderul. Sadly the game is wrecked by the terrible camera that will ruin some of it's finest moments.- Gamer.no

Rage 2's brilliant shooting fails to make up for its shortcomings everywhere else. Because even though there's fun to be had in the Wasteland, the shooting fails to keep me wanting more after not too many hours of gameplay. And when that happens, the lackluster story, the shallow characters and the repetitive mission systems all reveal what a bland experience this really is.- Gamer.no

Blades of Fire lets you be both the hero and the blacksmith, crafting unique weapons that drive the game’s progression. While the story feels a bit disjointed, the game offers a solid combat system and an engaging world that rewards exploration.- Gamer.no

Draugen weaves an interesting, short story about Edward and his ward, the young, energetic Lissie. The search for his little sister takes the pairing to Graavik, a remote village in rural Norway. But the mystery is far bigger than they know. It is a short, concentrated and well executed story based game.- Gamer.no

The Flame in the Flood dares to be a different survival game. Instead of focusing on killing zombies, the goal is to survive by eating, drinking, and sleeping. Sadly, there's not much more to it than that. Being different alone does not make a game great, and this is no exception.- Gamer.no

If you're desperate for more inFamous content and can play Second Son with your eyes closed then First Light might be worth your time and money. The story being told, while familiar and unremarkable, is well told and playing around with Fetch's powers can be fun at times. Unfortunately, it's still a downscaled, smaller version of what we all did in the first game.- Gamer.no

Finally a portable football game that stands on it's own to feet. The 3D effect is excellent, and this game gives you hours of footballing fun on the 3DS.- Gamer.no

Unstoppable Gorg provides a new and exciting take on tower defense. It's a much more "active" game than most tower defense games, because you constantly have to work to keep the turrets in optimal positions, and it can be really really tough at times too. But it is highly addictive, and the presentation is lovely.- Gamer.no

Call of Duty: WWII gives the impression of being prematurely published, and has a plethora of serious flaws. It’s return to the series roots is in setting only, and the game pales in comparison to the classics it draws inspiration from.- Gamer.no

Stellaris: Apocalypse brings awesome weapons and new challenges to the Stellaris experience, but is also carried by the massive changes brought on with the new and free Cherryh update. As such, I wish Apocalypse came with the kind of changes we saw with the Utopia expansion last year, because by itself, the expansion lacks the kind of marvel we've come to expect from Paradox's expansions.- Gamer.no

Ridge Racer Unbounded is a good racing experience, being fast-paced, slick-looking and explosive. At the same time we have learned to expect «bigger and better» from each new racing title over the years, and it's here Unbounded fails dramatically, only rehashing ideas from older, and ultimately better racing games.- Gamer.no

Despite being neither revolutionary nor completely true to the original Castlevania concept, Mirror of Fate is enormously entertaining in its own right. It is a delightful mixture of action, platforming and exploration featuring a satisfying combat system that works extremely well in 2D.- Gamer.no

Dead Rising 4 has obvious flaws. It is not a great technical game, has a lot of bugs, and it does not run as well as a lot of other games on console. It still manages to entertain with it’s humor, but it is a flawed game.- Gamer.no

At it's best, Serious Sam 3 is almost like a first person shooter-version of Geometry Wars: An intense dance with the enemy hordes. But it takes a while to get to this point, and towards the end the whole experience gets a bit samey.- Gamer.no

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD features an engaging combat system and a great universe to explore, making for a stellar JRPG, with it a distinctive style and tone. However, the experience is hampered by too many protagonists, a clunky camera and the fact that the HD-remastering is less than optimal in oh so many different ways.- Gamer.no

When Vikings Attack is a fun and charming little game, with simple core mechanics. Britain is overrun by vikings, and the townspeople need to throw everything they can find at their aggressors to fend them off. Its good for casual gaming, but works best as a fun gaming experience with family and friends.- Gamer.no

Combining the building and destruction of Minecraft with the tactical team based shooting of Team Fortress 2 makes for an addicting combination. But the true value of Block N Load is the depth the developers have added to the game via classes, special building blocks and en endless variety in offensive and defensive tactics. An inspired shooter that combines the best of two game worlds into a fresh and bold experience.- Gamer.no

Aarklash: Legacy offers superb tactical combat in the style of classics like Baldur's Gate. It's a game with combat and little else, but if you fancy yourself an armchair tactician you owe it to yourself to give it a go.- Gamer.no
