Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 makes you feel almighty when you and your team are together, and the fusion powers make it a blast to experiment with different teams. It's a shame that the lacking RPG-elements and tricky camera bring the experience down. Fans of Marvel and beat 'em up games won't be disappointed though.- Gamer.nl

An enjoyable but flawed game. Some moments you think it’s the best thing on earth, when you think up an object that you thought couldn’t help you solve a puzzle but you suddenly use it in an inventive way. Other times you will be bored thanks to the reuse of items or frustrated with the loose controls.- Gamer.nl

The Beatles: Rock Band has become the ultimate Beatles experience. You can feel the passion Harmonix has put into this game by looking at it. It provides a feeling of Beatlemania for everyone who weren’t around when The Fabulous Four were so popular. Despite the more casual approach compared to previous Rock Band titles and the lack of some favourite songs, The Beatles: Rock Band is an example of how music games centered around specific bands should be.- Gamer.nl

The Demon Blade pulls everyone to the television screen with it’s fantastic art direction. It also plays like a dream, but after a while you might get bored, because this game is simple. There’s not only little challenge, but also little variation in what you do. It’s a shame, because visually this must be one of the highlights of the this generation on any console. Still, you would do well to try this one out.- Gamer.nl

The game means well but comes short in many ways. The simple graphics showing off peaceful backdrops combined with some relaxing music are the highlight of the experience, but the combat is too simple and boring and there’s too big of an emphasis on it. Plenty of good ideas that players don’t need to use during the game. A shame, really.- Gamer.nl

IL2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey succeeds at bringing a flightsim to the consoles. The game delivers a few things that console gamers haven't had for years, but at the same time takes its place between the less-realistic alternatives on the consoles. If you can look past the minor flaws, Birds of Prey is recommended for the serious flightsim-enthusiast.- Gamer.nl

Dirt 2 looked like it was becoming a pimped out version of the first game, with emphasis on the spectacle. But Codemasters once again delivers a formidable racer. Great graphics combined with challenging gameplay and an excellent racing experience make Dirt 2 a worthy successor.- Gamer.nl

Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny proves that a fighting game can work well on a handheld. Is it easier to slam the buttons on a arcade stick? Probably, but the ability to fight while traveling is a great alternative. The many modes and options and brilliant graphics, combined with the greatly balanced gameplay from Soul Calibur, makes this game a treat on the PSP. The lack of online-play and a storymode is hard to swallow, but fans don't lose a lot. It's a great handheld game.- Gamer.nl

The Siege of Spinner Cay feels like a rerun of the first chapter. It's not better or worse and the principle and tone are comparable. The third chapter at last promises a twist, at least that's what the closing scene shows. And that's a good thing, because five times the same thing would get tedious.- Gamer.nl

Harvest Moon: Magical Melody is a successful conversion from the Gamecube to the Wii. Fans will enjoy the game, but newcomers will also like the addictiveness of this game and its unique style. But the game is technically a bit behind, the difficulty is low and the story is a bit boring.- Gamer.nl

This game won’t exactly entertain you. The bad controls result in way too much frustration and the game isn’t even that scary, which is a shame because the game pretends to be a survival-horror game. The visits to the Himalaya are interesting enough but not enough to turn Cursed Mountain into a classic.- Gamer.nl

Dissidia: Final Fantasy is a good game. With the unique fighting-system, healthy length and high production values it is already a convincing title, but the thing that makes it the most interesting is that it’s a beautiful tribute to the series. The negative points like the lack of online-options, an unpolished camera system and the sometimes awful voice acting can't hide the fact that Dissidia is one of the most surprising PSP-titles this year.- Gamer.nl

Metroid Prime Trilogy bundles three of the best games ever made. This trilogy belongs in the collection of every Nintendo-fan, so if you haven’t started on it yet, this collection for the Wii is a good place to start. The new controller-options don’t add enough to make people who are already in possession of the original games buy this Trilogy again though.- Gamer.nl
