A great, haunting atmosphere makes up for some bug issues and poor A.I. The story is as compelling as the novel's.

The return of Kratos is a powerful one, and the years Sony Santa Monica have spent on polishing every segment of the game have really paid off.

A great expansion to an already great RPG that shines from a varied enviroment design, more options and challenges and excellent characters.

The fighting is too complicated and the story could have been more interesting in Tri-Aces latest effort. Thumbs up for thinking outside of the box, though.

Pokémon Heart Gold is a really well made remake of the old Pokémon Gold, arguably the best game in the series. Though Nintendo wouldn't be Nintendo if they didn't change things, other than the graphics, for the better. With the Pokéwalker and a series of mini games, Pokémon Heart Gold is the most fun I've had with the pocket monsters in years, but the series has been more or less unchanged since the very beginning, and things start to feel a little bit outdated.

Not as good as its predecessor but a fun, nostalgic return to that blue guy we love to love.

The controls aren't quite there and the design is actually horrible. An engaging multiplayer mode makes Scrap Metal passable, though.

High production values and charming characters make Final Fantasy XIII a good game. But an all too linear structure and a boring story keep it from being brilliant.

A really good story, some nice voice acting and a couple of nice fighting sequences make for a decent action game that unfortunately seems somewhat aged.

Drawing your platforms in platform games is hardly anything new these days. Still, talented developer Press Play has found a really nice touch to the concept and Max & the Magic Marker is a really tricky Wii Ware alternative to Braid.

As with many great games, Toy Soldiers takes a minute to learn, and a lifetime to master. The intensity on the battlefield is really addictive.

Brilliant multiplayer carries the Swedish sequel which contains a Modern Warfare 2-damaged single-player experience that ultimately feels like a big letdown.

Fast, accessible and just plain good old fun. This sleeper hit sequel could have been a masterpiece with better A.I. and more up-to-date graphics.

A really huge expansion to Borderlands that feels a little bit like a missed opportunity. But all the tedious transportation and rather dull enemies can't hide the fact that there really is a lot to do here, and that the new vehicles are good fun. In the end, General Knoxx is recommended for all of you who have missed the adventures on Pandora.

Bold, tense, exiting, gritty and very well executed. Quantic Dreams' interactive thriller-movie is here and it triumphs in more ways than any of us could have ever imagined. This is Se7en: The Game, and you need to buy it.

No, Sonic doesn't reach the level of brilliance of Mario Kart Wii, but Sonic and Sega All-stars Racing is still a very charming and challenging racing game for a younger audience.

A unique little game in its own right, a relaxing piece of software that's perfect to play when you don't feel like playing. A more sensible story and a little more polish would have made Endless Ocean 2 spectacular.

The second expansion to Assassin's Creed II is better and longer than the first, but there's still a sense of a rip-off when these levels weren't included in the original game.

Rebellion's struggle to get back to the studio's old ways of brilliance continues with another lackluster action game. Sure, the Predator-part of the campaign is exciting and the multiplayer is ok. But the rest is sub par action with boring graphics.
