Cold War offers the best CoD campaign in years, but not everyone will like the multiplayer mode.

Great Musou in terms of gameplay, that tells the story before Breath of the Wild, but also has to struggle with technical problems.

Cuddly Jump&Run with fun couch co-op and fantastic music levels. The sacklings do well without an editor!

Bugsnax is not a technical masterpiece, but is full of creative ideas, fun gameplay mechanics and lots of heart.

Valhalla is a giant step backwards for Assassin's Creed, which is pretty to look at, but feels soulless and fun-free.

The atmosphere of Spider-Man: Miles Morales is something very special. It is clearly politically positioned and the focus is on stories that are neglected in many video game blockbusters. This alone makes the spin-off look new and different, even if the recognition value is actually quite high. But there is still a big, fat recommendation from me.

For Hot Pursuit purists who want to compete with friends again via Autolog or just want pure fun in the linear career mode, the remaster is definitely worth a look. For all others, however, I cannot give a recommendation at the price of 40 euros. Yes, it is nice to have the game on current consoles, but the release policy seems strange.

I'm not exactly a Wipeout fan, but I made some friends with Pacer.

Little Hope didn't convince me when it came to horror either. Although the scenes seem coherent and remind of good Silent Hill 2 times, too many predictable jump-scares drive away the horror and leave a tired shrug. That's enough for a nice co-op evening with awful company, but otherwise I can't make any recommendations here.

The sheer amount of small advances makes all the difference. The expansion cannot shake the disappointing basic structure of Pokémon Sword and Shield, but it can continue to experiment within the defined framework. The result is a clear success.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe has cast a spell over me again. And that's mainly due to the co-op mode. Commanding the small Pikmin army and fighting the Beetle opponents has never been as fun as with another player.

As far as gameplay is concerned, Watch Dogs: Legion is not reinventing hacking, but as usual offers a lot of solutions for all sorts of problems. But as soon as I leave the role of the secret hacker and conjure up the action of Watch Dogs: Legion, a little too little happens to me for such play styles to be really entertaining. So the fun of Watch Dogs: Legion depends entirely on how you play Watch Dogs: Legion.

There is never a second boredom here, because with the Quantum masks and the guest characters there are constantly new mechanics that go beyond (thrilling) jumping and running. I'm looking forward to going through the levels one more time in detail so that I can really discover all the secrets. I accept the funny skins for Crash and Coco as a reward.

This is what a remake should look like. Hangar 13 did everything right with Mafia: Definitive Edition. The new edition looks fantastic and brings out the great strengths in the narrative and staging of the original has been even better. The changes blend in seamlessly and make sense of the game modernizing so that it works for both newbies and old hands.

It is a great achievement that Derek Yu has managed to improve the almost perfect gameplay construct even further, to add more variety and depth and yet remain true to his roots.

So in the end there is pure joy to finally be able to play the classics on the switch, and the faded aftertaste that so much more would have been possible here.

The bottom line is that Marvel’s Avengers works better than I would have thought. But the discrepancy between single player and multiplayer is large.

The remakes are not flawless and the game design also shows its age here and there. Vicarious Visions, on the other hand, succeeded in achieving the goal of getting the THPS vibes across. Nice that "old" Tony is back.

With a little more sensitive controls and adjustments when it comes to scoring goals, Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Heroes would even have hit anime characters.

The game does exactly what it promises: It's a fun and entertaining game show in a colorful look and, thanks to the small minions, a lot of good humor. The big problem - and the developers want to address this as quickly as possible - is the lack of variety. More mini-games, variations of the rounds and one or the other new modes are needed. At the moment, despite all the fun, you can't shake the feeling that you are still in the early access phase of a future multiplayer hit. But I am hopeful that new content will follow very quickly.

The mixture of action adventure, action RPG and puzzle game works - at least if you let go of the expectation that everything must be as it was on GameCube back then. In terms of accessibility, the developers have significantly reduced the RPG share. There are no confusing stats or life bars on the opponents.

Streets of Rage is a declaration of love for Segas's Beat 'em Up classic and skillfully transports the game's principle into the modern age.
