I give preference to the switch version, because I can take it everywhere and barely compromise. Rockstar has delivered an impressive port here and even incorporated an intuitive touch screen control.

Echo is not using its full potential, but the adaptive AI offers an interesting gameplay idea and a cool sci-fi story.

While the technical part is quite convincing, the new Sonic lacks game depth and scope.

Despite limitations in graphics and operation, it's amazing that Doom works so well on the Switch, even in handheld mode. Personally, I would like to play such an impressive experience as Doom rather on the big TV, but luckily with the switch one has the choice.

If somebody had asked me a few months ago how to make Horizon Zero Dawn even better, I probably would have said "just give me more". That's exactly what I got with The Frozen Wilds. My biggest criticism of The Frozen Wilds is that the story does not match the main game.

Super Mario Odyssey is a platformer masterpiece full of surprises, jokes and ideas, and a must have for any switch owner. Video game magic...Nintendo has created a modern classic.

GT Sport offers little for singleplayer as far as playtime and scope are concerned, but thanks to great driving physics and a good online mode it's still a recommended game.

The creators manage the balancing act between fantasy and science fiction really well, the environment is full of loving details and surprises.

A more than worthy sequel. Many inconveniences were eradicated, many shallow moments filled with playing depth. And so the successor has also become the somewhat better game.

The Evil Within 2 is not a small-scale indie production that can only appeal to a special target group with a certain form of phobia. As an expensive mainstream product it has to compromise. But I think this has been a wonderful success.

The great controls increase immersion, but can't balance out the monotonous battles. Only recommended for DBZ fans.

No real alternative to the "big" FIFA 18, but a fast arcade kick in handheld mode.

Huge and challenging RPG with a great pawn system, but weaknesses in presentation and technology damage the overall impression.

    Hob
Hob is a fascinating mix of minimalistic and complex ideas that blend so seamlessly and organically that a coherent overall image emerges, not the least reminiscent of games such as The Legend of Zelda and Ico. The great focus on exploring without any explanation is great - although it is a bit unfortunate that Hob does not tell an interesting story.

Pillars is for me not only a game that revolves around souls or that captures the soul of a classic like Baldur's Gate, but primarily a game that has its very own, wonderful soul.
