An RPG with very good writing and memorable companions, that lacks in terms of presentation and game mechanics.

Brutally hard 2D-platformer with a bizarre setting and mainly aimed at fans of Super Meat Boy.

Better graphics, all DLCs. This is the best version of the game, but only if you don't own the GOTY edition of the old-gen version.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is a monster of content and the best Monster Hunter of the old era. On Switch, too.

Especially for a few fast races in between, the title keeps captivating the controller, but in the long run, GRID runs out of steam.

Ice with style. NHL 19 is actually a very good sports game, but the microtransactions for the HUT mode are a scandal.

Pokémon Sword & Shield is the best game in the series thanks to more complex combat and attention to detail.

Reanimal is a short audiovisual masterpiece that makes even Little Nightmares 3 look like a complex tactical adventure game.

A great comeback. It's a RPG that makes you think about every skill point, the smartest way to achieve a goal or decisions in quests.

There are a few minor points of criticism that separate Dungeons of Hinterberg from being a hit. The platforming passages, for example, are always frustrating due to the missing jump button. We also missed visual changes. The swords have their own designs, but the scabbard always stays the same. New armor only changes the stats, not Luisa's look. That's complaining at a high level, but together with the fights that could be improved, there is enough room for improvement for a possible successor, which we would definitely be looking forward to. There are definitely potential starting points for a sequel.

The perceived best-of series is the best Mario Party in recent years, but could have used a bigger scope.

The alternative to Rock Band focuses on the single player experience and offers a lot of fun. It's a shame that Activision uses absurd microtransactions which makes the game look a bit like a rip off.

The mixture of action adventure, action RPG and puzzle game works - at least if you let go of the expectation that everything must be as it was on GameCube back then. In terms of accessibility, the developers have significantly reduced the RPG share. There are no confusing stats or life bars on the opponents.

This deluxe version of Pokémon Tekken manages to impress with new Pokémon and multiplayer modes, the single player mode is still missing variety however.
