An amazingly smooth-running game that stumbles upon story and makes a nose-dive when it comes to combat and sound. Unfortunately the scariest thing about The Ward is it’s extreme repetition. Its’ not a bad game per say, it’s just so helplessly behind its time and fails to make use of the unique abilities of the NDS.

While the addictive battle system makes up for some of the flaws, Star Ocean: The Last Hope still suffers from familiar issues and lack of innovation. Though there is a lot of room for exploration and content which makes the game feel rich, and will certainly keep fans of the genre right on spot for a period of time.

The first portable game in the Jak & Daxter-series is a well done game with a lot of different elements. For the younger player this could be a must-buy, but older gamers may find it a bit too easy.

The Lego-plus-movie franchise-series hasn't evolved much since start, but when the games are as solid as the second installment of Lego Indy you shouldn't complain. The newly added split screen-mode takes the cooperative multiplayer to new heights and this is where the game really shines. Adventuring through all four Indy movies with a friend is pure fun.

While Pain certainly is fun in small doses, the repetitiveness of the gameplay and lack of content from scratch makes it hard to recommend buying it. That is if you don't mind spending the extra cash for its expansions.

Even if Guitar Hero: Smash Hits only would have been a collection of songs lifted from the previous games, you'd still have to appreciate it. But with the added support for full band play, and it's certainly fun to drum to the old classics, Smash Hits evolves into must buy for any fan of the franchise.

As a game EyePet isn’t that great, but as a form of entertainment it’s a whole of a lot better. Especially for kids, or perhaps ”only for kids” is more accurate. Because EyePet is primarily a kids game and as such a very good one. For adults it’s more of a gimmick which doesn’t hold up for very long.

As an add-on Lips: Number One Hits is fantastic. It’s packed to the brim with some great karaoke songs and will definitely be something that Lips fans must buy. It does not, however, fix all the mistakes made by Lips. As a karaoke game it’s not that good.

Wet is, as a production, great but as a game it’s not that great. The main problem is the lack of soul and heart. Combining ”cool” features, mixing them up with a ”cool” lady killer just isn’t ”cool” if you don’t do it properly

Virtua Tennis 2009 is, like every other game in the Virtua Tennis-series, a great game. But there are not many news since the last version so if you already got a Virtua Tennis for your current-gen console you can stick with that. But if you haven´t, and love tennis, then this is a must buy.

A old school jrpg with some new features that makes it one of the best in the genre for the Xbox 360. For example, the fighting system is great and creates a flow in the game. With a better story and a main character that wasn’t a boy that looks like a girl and has amnesia, it would have been even better.

Battlefield Heroes does quite a good job when it comes to entertaining the players for a short while, but with only a few maps and not that many weapons this "Free 2 Play" game comes a bit short. The game offers not that much diversity and if you want to spend your money on microtransactions there is mostly just new outfits to choose from.

The final impression from 2K Sports latest creation is actually rather pale. The game struggles in it's role of being both an arcade type of a game, and a simulation of the sport. It's just not that fun to play, and when it comes down to it, EA Sports simply does a much greater job with their hockey-game this year.

It shows that this game is specifically made for the Wii and they try hard at making it look like a kid for the younger crowd. But basically it all just falls flat down on the ground with only a few things that make you want to play the game longer than 15 minutes.

While the game offers a great variety in the first half of the game, the later parts feel incomplete and uninspired. The characters feels like the typical video game cast, and with some decent voice acting, this could have been a pretty good game. For kids.

Trivial Pursuit is fun as a board game but as a digital game it doesn’t sport the same intense feeling of victory. It’s you against the game, not you against your competition and with that comes an apparent lack of intensity and fun. TP should be enjoyed around a table with friends and family, not in front of the TV.

It's hard to do justice to a game that doesn't even do justice to itself. Spore Hero is nothing but a good example on how to exploit a franchise in the cheapest way possible. Uneven gameplay, stupid camera controls and ridden with boring puzzles and even more boring duels does not make a good children's game. You need more than bright colors to fool us EA.

At first Dark Void seems to be a less than great third person action shooter. Then it seems to be a third person action shooter with slight use of a jetpack. But then it blooms and a whole new experience emerges with rapid aerial combat mixed with intense ground combat with a twist. Unfortunately the game’s potential is never reached but the idea is excellent and good enough to make a great game.

A game based on a movie could go the safe way, like the recent release of Ravensoft's Wolverine. Or it could try to be something more than just being a license.
