And as if uninspired gameplay wasn’t enough, the game is chock full of the dandiest bugs this side of my bathtub. Let’s see - where to begin. Clipping, bad frame rates, stuck fighters, horrid camera movement, moves that just don’t work and sluggish controls.

So, we have annoying sound, minimalist save features, poor dialogue and voice acting, clumsy controls, and frustrating gameplay. Not exactly a recipe for success.

The gameplay is just devoid of fun.

If you’re looking for a single-player experience that rivals most of today’s other RTS games… look elsewhere.

Not only a horrible example of game making, but terribly insulting to just about anybody who’s even familiar with the original versions on the 16 bit systems.

This is a great game just as long as you keep it away from your PC. It is only until it comes in contact with a PC-Cdrom drive that it is able to spread it’s evils across your office or living room...Horrible in every single meaning of the word.

That is the real problem with Dark Planet, it doesn’t do anything that might keep me interested in playing it (and with over 40 missions it should be trying to).

At all costs, do not expose yourself to the undying horror known as Triple Play 2002.

Saying that Knockout Kings requires extreme wit is almost as heinous as claiming that George W. Bush is the most intelligent man on the planet, it just ain't gonna happen.

With Real Pool 2’s timed shots, choppy graphics, obtuse camera control and bland technology upgrades the game feels like Kinda Real But Not Really Pool.

The AI of your friends is completely laughable as you will witness them stuck behind doors and other obstacles in non-stop walking animation, jump off cliffs and bridges for no reason, and fall out of the sky beside you.

It’s like on your 16th birthday where you’re expecting a set of keys that will unlock a brand new car but instead you get an all-season bus pass. Except multiply that disappointment by about fifty times and you have what it feels like to play State of Emergency.

I’d compare the enjoyment once can get from Creature Isle to that of sitting on a cross Atlantic flight for 14 hours in a seat next to a crying baby. It’ll have you raving to your friends for hours, but for all the wrong reasons.

The problem with the Xbox version is that the defensive AI is atrocious.

A.I. can range from tolerable to unbearable.

It's hard to control, impossible on the eyes, and kind of like getting your nose ring ripped out! This is, simply put, the worst fighter of all time. It's a new low on every aspect of the game.

Have you ever played a game that was just so horribly bad that you couldn’t help but wonder why the game was ever released in the first place? A game so horrible that it could literally bring a grown man to tears over the amount of frustration and pain that it caused?

This game is so ugly that it looks like it’s been beaten like a red-headed stepchild that managed to hit every branch on the ugly tree.

I hate Shaun Palmer’s Pro Snowboarder, I curse the day it was conceived and I wish a horrible holiday season upon all of those who were involved in it’s production.

The A.I. is one of the worst parts of the game; computer players just stand around like they’re bored, including those on your team.

The game seems to have no structure to it whatsoever, and that’s before you begin to question why the hell you’re delivering unknown packages in the first place.

Unfortunately once the game starts the fun ends.

It seemed like Midway wanted EVERYONE, no matter how bad they are, to be in the race. This might appeal to those who aren’t really good at this game, but it just takes away any skill needed to be a good racer and almost leaves it to blind and random luck.

This game is putrid.

Under-whelming, at best.

If "Gran Turismo 3 A-spec" was like opening Christmas presents as a kid, then Le Mans 24 Hours is a lot like getting mugged.

In the style of PC Gamer's David Manningesque vocabulary, Max Payne is the most forgettable action game in history. (I exaggerate, of course. It's only the most forgettable action game of the year.)

I cannot look past the fact that simply playing the game is a chore.

No matter how you look at it, this game is crap...I shudder at the thought that people might spend time even reading about this game.

These points don't raise the game from mediocrity, but they at least make some aspects of the game interesting enough to keep going... if you've got the patience and don't mind the boring parts.

To be blunt, the game just isn't fun without the gun.
