While there are some standout visuals and atmosphere, Tribe is sadly just another run-of-the-mill survival game…

Like the island in the title, Skull Island: Rise of Kong should be left alone by anyone curious enough to buy, play, and refund the game.

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria is a decently fun time. While not perfect, it’s a unique take on a sandbox survival game.

Sugar Shack is another addition to the cosy genre. If you’re into simple, no-extra-frills restaurant simulators or are really passionate maple syrup, it might be your cup of tea.

Scene Investigators demands the attention of a real investigator, with the determination and knowledge to crack cases open. For the patient and studious, you’ll be greatly rewarded for your efforts.

Space Wreck is a great example of an isometric RPG but simplified enough for new players to the style.

TY the Tasmanian Tiger 4 Bush Rescue isn’t a busted title, but it doesn’t do anything to make it feel memorable or special from other platformers out there. It mostly felt repetitive and not challenging enough to make it rewarding.

Mystic Gate is a fun roguelite bullet hell game that will challenge your reflexes and that has a huge assortment of weapons and skills that you acquire to use on your runs. It’s a challenging game, but feels addictive and not incredibly frustrating!

Ghostrunner 2 is an exemplary sequel, improving upon the original in every way. With better Energy systems, delightful and responsive bike levels, fantastic bosses, and the same quick-paced gameplay from the original, it's a no-brainer for anyone who remotely enjoyed the first.

Sweet Dreams Alex isn’t bad, but at times, it feels repetitive and doesn’t have an engaging story to make you want to continue playing.

Although a few issues can mar the overall enjoyment, CRYMACHINA is nevertheless an enjoyable tale of reincarnated humans and their struggle to define what it is to be a “real human”. Slick, responsive combat and a fantastic musical score make this a title you shouldn’t overlook.

Jackbox Party Pack 10 is a fun addition to your party game rotation, with great mini-games like Dodo Re Mi and Timejinx you are sure to have a great time! The Hypnotorious game was a miss for us.

Agatha Christie — Murder on the Orient Express offers an excellent mystery, but not much in the way of good gameplay. Often dull and tedious, it’s hard to recommend.

Hellboy Web of Wyrd is a genuinely enjoyable action title, but its lack of difficulty makes it challenging to recommend binging through it, as it starts becoming monotonous a few hours in.

The Troop as a generally solid, if difficult, strategy game on the whole is a diamond in the rough for diehard fans of the genre, but a steep price of entry and less-than-stellar presentational polish means that casual strategists might give it a pass.

Silky smooth arcade racing at its very best, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged may not stray too far from the previous title, but still packs in enough features to keep you whizzing around those little plastic tracks for hours and hours.

Deadly Rain just doesn’t do enough to separate itself from Call of Duty: Zombies. It’s fine for what it is, but there isn’t much incentive to buy this game.

Ooblets had enormous potential, but the sheer amount of grinding and shallow mechanics really disappointed me. Unless you don't mind dull and repetitive gameplay loops, I don't recommend trying it.

New name, same beautiful game is how I’d describe EA SPORTS FC 24. There is, once again, nothing revolutionary here, although PlayStyles and HyperMotion V are to be applauded as they further blur the line between virtual and real life football.

Diluvian Ultra is a cool-looking first-person shooter reminiscent of Quake and DOOM-style games. There are some bugs that make this game more frustrating than it should be, but if you are a fan of using a keyboard for FPS games, you may enjoy this title.

Par for the Dungeon is a simple, easy, and casual mini-golf title that I enjoyed more than I ever expected. If you're new to the genre and want to branch out, it's definitely a great title, but it might be less so for veterans.
