New name, same beautiful game is how I’d describe EA SPORTS FC 24. There is, once again, nothing revolutionary here, although PlayStyles and HyperMotion V are to be applauded as they further blur the line between virtual and real life football.

Diluvian Ultra is a cool-looking first-person shooter reminiscent of Quake and DOOM-style games. There are some bugs that make this game more frustrating than it should be, but if you are a fan of using a keyboard for FPS games, you may enjoy this title.

A lighter side-entry into the Trails series, The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails may not engross you in its narrative, but will surely charm you with its carefree nature.

Wizard with a Gun is a great game for those who can endure the loop of looting and shooting.

The Lamplighters League's approach to mixing real-time and turn-based tactical gameplay is enjoyable, and its charming misfits make banter a delight. If it can fix its technical issues, it has a chance to be a hit.

Par for the Dungeon is a simple, easy, and casual mini-golf title that I enjoyed more than I ever expected. If you're new to the genre and want to branch out, it's definitely a great title, but it might be less so for veterans.

Bounty of One may look like other roguelite bullet-hell titles that you have played in the past, but being able to play multiplayer, and making it so that you can only shoot when you aren’t moving makes it challenging!

An adorably cute shmup suitable for all skill levels, with a surprising amount of depth and content. A great soundtrack and cute (if basic) visuals make this a fun time.

This game is as great as Captain Pike’s hair. If you’re ready to blink away three hours of your life in what feels like three minutes, Star Trek: Infinite is for you.

Lords of the Fallen feels like a passionless soulslike, relying on the same old tricks to make its experience “difficult” all the while failing to lean on its most innovative ideas.

The Red Exile: Survival Horror has the building blocks of a good survival horror title, but fumbled in the execution. Missing sound, little reason to replay, and a dull Killer blew out the final candles for this title.

BIT.TRIP RERUNNER is a loving remake/remaster of the original game and is an amazing rhythm platformer. You can even create your own stages or play ones that other players have made. This is a must-play title!

Avatar: The Last Airbender - Quest for Balance feels like an incomplete port of a mobile game that was retextured. It definitely isn’t worth £39.99 and I wouldn’t recommend it even if it was free.

Despite some minor issues and some disorienting audio, I appreciated the metanarrative and surrealism of [I] doesn’t exist. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys story-rich games.

Deceit 2 takes away a lot of the positives the game had and feels like a standard social deduction game that doesn’t have anything unique to it. There isn’t any reason to play it instead of just playing the original.

Deathbulge: Battle of the Bands is a superb turn-based RPG with an excellent music-themed battle system, a charming cast of characters, and non-stop jokes. Pick this one up if you need a silly escape into a boppin’ world.

I didn't expect a lot of innovation in this second entry to the franchise, but Rogueside really showed off their creativity with Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic!

Despite a lack of variety in modes, Wild Card Football’s on-field action is consistently frantic and enjoyable. The Wild Cards can create some truly great moments, but those looking for a large amount of single-player content will be left disappointed.

The game is pretty good, but there are some problems with the gameplay, and the characters’ voices are a huge bother with how they ruin the immersion.

Tikamoon Plains improves on many of the issues the base game has, such as character interactions and animal AI. If the views won't keep you coming back, the characters and hints of mystery will!

Bang-On Balls: Chronicles is a true return to classic collect-a-thons, there is just too much to do. Complete the quests, get cosmetics, gather collectibles, get cosmetics, destroy the world, get cosmetics... and then look good while doing it, too.

My Little Universe is a great title to pick up when you can't have your full focus on a game but still want to play something! Although I wish it had a bit more to it, I think if you know what it is, it's easy to like!

AK-xolotl is a twin-stick shooter full of action and personality. What bad can happen from giving cute creatures deadly weapons? It’s amazing how guilty this game made me feel for thinking about sacrificing my baby's happiness to power my character up!

Whilst not having as much additional content as a full sequel perhaps should have, Train Sim World 4 is still undoubtedly the king of the rails. The almost inexhaustible amount of content on offer is enough to get any train fan to hop on board.

Nice to see another Assassin’s Creed game to explain yet another exciting story on another character, well done Ubisoft.
