A pale imitation of what inspired it, with unpredictable, unwieldy mechanics and the appearance of low production value.- GameGrin

An ambitious, complex sandbox space game that allows you to do almost anything from spacewalking to commanding a carrier with a fleet of ships onboard. A steep learning curve and an inconsistent interface mar an excellent return for Egosoft’s flagship series.- GameGrin

I’d recommend giving Another Sight - Hodge’s Cat a go if you’re at all interested in Another Sight, purely on the game’s aesthetics - in this case, it would definitely be worth 20 minutes of your time. Meanwhile, wishing Team Lunar the best of luck in the future, I’ll be sticking Another Sight on the ‘maybe I’ll play this someday’ list.- GameGrin

Scintillatron 4096 offers so much more than its dated retro stylings initially suggest. What begins as a somewhat clunky, simple twin-stick shooter, quickly blossoms into a strategic, thoughtful and immensely addictive little gem of a videogame.- GameGrin

An easy 8, maybe even 9/10 for long time fans, but for most people points will be lost in the story department. It's never too late to catch up, but DO NOT start here!- GameGrin

This strategy based game focused around diabolical murder in order to get some much needed sleep is absolutely wonderful. Different characters, levels, and so much in each level to explore! Definitely worth a look, especially if you need to relieve some stress from frustrating neighbours who maybe party too much.- GameGrin

Technically superior to the previous episode, and a strong second entry to the Diaz boys’ saga.- GameGrin

Unnecessary padding in the career mode and a few presentation blemishes detract somewhat from what is otherwise a more than competent and content-rich supercross sim, which caters to fans of all skill levels.- GameGrin

Roarr! The Adventures of Rampage Rex - Jurassic Edition doesn't have a lot going for it. Dull gameplay paired with technical problems and a hideous soundtrack makes this Switch title – despite the cheap price tag – one to avoid.- GameGrin

It’s nothing more than a concept game for the developers, but I could have given it a higher score if it gave me a laugh. But it didn’t. Just pretend you never even read this review and carry on with your life.- GameGrin

If you like watching B-movie’s with friends, but would rather play them instead, then yes, Earth Defense Force 5 is the game for you. If you just want to blow shit up, then there are more entertaining games out there.- GameGrin

Echoes of the great 8 and 16 bit platformers of yore abound in this innovative and quirky indie game that starts with a weird premise and keeps building on it in style.- GameGrin

Genesis Alpha One is a game that I love coming back to for both short and long bursts. It’s got an absolute ton of replayability with some really interesting designs and mechanics to boot.- GameGrin

For a first release, this game is very detail oriented. The sandbox is fun to play with, to relax and design with no pressure, and the campaigns have tutorials to go along with them. The campaigns can be a little intense, so be prepared!- GameGrin

An 80s action movie in videogame form, some poor design choices don’t stop this being a great sandbox to play in.- GameGrin

It can still look visually striking when viewed from a distance while its audio design, with a brooding electronic score, can also be wonderfully atmospheric. Sadly, it’s not enough to salvage a wholly disappointing experience that never reaches the lofty heights it begins with.- GameGrin

It’s hard to talk about Pikuniku without giving too much away, so just know that it’s a fun little puzzle-platformer that doesn't take itself seriously.- GameGrin

Wales Interactive deliver a game that excels in taking the player into a mysterious and unsettling place rife with oddball characters, creepy radio stations and untimely death. However, it is not without issue and at times feels a little disjointed in delivery.- GameGrin

An intriguing RPG/Survival hybrid sandbox that invites you to experiment in the world it presents. Some technical hiccups interrupt the open world and the freeform nature definitely isn’t for everyone but if you are after something different, Kenshi is the very definition of that.- GameGrin

A satisfying colony-building sandbox with a lot of replayability that suffers from a lack of polish in the UI. A great aesthetic and quirky sci-fi take on the genre mean there is a lot to like here, it just takes a little digging to get there.- GameGrin

Sloppy controls, an aimless direction, and atrocious level design hinders Dynamic Pixel's newest entry in the Hello Neighbor series from reaching the potential that many believe it has. While a whimsical art style and great performance across a variety of performance are great to see, Hide & Seek results in a forgettable and frustrating experience overall.- GameGrin

A fun MMO centric take on the survival crafting genre that Minecraft made famous. Solo players will still find the experience enjoyable, especially when paired with the unique play on the simplistic art style. While the importance of constantly checking the knowledges section within the menu becomes a bit annoying at times, Boundless remains a fun experience that fans of the genre will enjoy overall.- GameGrin

Guacamelee! 2 is a worthy sequel. DrinkBox has retained and refined everything from the predecessor, while adding a number of number new features that improve on the formula. An overabundance of platforming segments can be frustrating, but the combat is as fun and as hectic as ever!- GameGrin
