Bleak Faith: Forsaken may not be the best soulslike experience, but the world and overall designs are very impressive, despite the uninspired story and mechanical shortcomings.- GameGrin

This homage to titans of the genre can be beautiful to behold, but it ultimately runs too short and too shallow to match the mightiness of its ancestors.- GameGrin

Metal Wolf Chaos XD isn’t big or clever, but if you want to get your kicks as a mech shooting and blowing things up while being an all-American patriot, then there’s only one choice - believe in your own justice!- GameGrin

NBA Playgrounds is a really fun and quirky title. The lack of online play at launch is a big omission and although the game lacks replayability, the arcade aesthetics, easy to use controls and whirlwind gameplay make this game extremely enjoyable in short bursts. I found the game better on handheld rather than playing off a TV, due to its ‘on the move’ vibe, and in that respect, it's undoubtedly a nice game to just unwind with and enjoy for what it is.- GameGrin

A fun, but simplified take on the turn-based strategy genre, think "baby's first XCOM" and you're on the right lines. Its flaws are obvious but easily overlooked for newcomers to the genre. If you're a die-hard strategy fan, consider giving Narcos: Rise of the Cartels a pass, it won't have much to offer you.- GameGrin

No Place Like Home had a lot of potential and a great idea behind restoring Earth and caring for the animals that inhabit it, it just forgot that home needs a family.- GameGrin

Overpass 2 is an acquired taste compared to other racing videogames. It is not recommended for casual racing gamers or anyone wanting to “try it out”.- GameGrin

The Calamity Angels themselves are indeed angelic, but this wacky workplace adventure comedy could have used a lot more wackiness to go with them.- GameGrin

Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness is a beautiful-looking game with an interesting story, unfortunately, you have to play through the repetitive Hello Abyss mode first before you can get to the really good parts in Deep in Abyss.- GameGrin

Dokapon Kingdom: Connect blends a board game with RPG elements and looks like it would be fun to play, but the pacing is so ridiculously slow that it becomes frustrating and feels bland.- GameGrin

TY the Tasmanian Tiger 4 Bush Rescue isn’t a busted title, but it doesn’t do anything to make it feel memorable or special from other platformers out there. It mostly felt repetitive and not challenging enough to make it rewarding.- GameGrin

Yars Rising is an awesome mix of a 2D action platformer with stealth and retro game action in one. With a great look, upbeat music, and an intriguing story, this is a must-play.- GameGrin

Great mech design and accessibility cannot save Override 2: Super Mech League from it’s weightless, lifeless gameplay. The maps often come across as too small, leading to cluttered fights that really affect the games flow.- GameGrin

It’s a fun and rewarding experience given the difficulty that it brings due to it’s 90s platformers inspiration. However, for the price, you could do a lot worse...- GameGrin

It would be slightly unfair to say that a lot of these changes feel like a user-made mod, but at a price point as high as this, I can’t in good conscience recommend it as a must-buy for players of the base game.- GameGrin

Squirrel with a Gun is a silly and crazy premise that equips a fuzzy rodent with a variety of weapons. There isn’t much of a story here, and it is very short, but it’s fun to play.- GameGrin

Dragon Quest is a fun, light-hearted JRPG with simple and enjoyable combat and classic Dragon Quest charm, though the lack of play time mixed with its other flaws leaves something to be desired, though at just £3.99 you really can’t go wrong.- GameGrin

Boti: Byteland Overclocked is an enjoyable and simple retro-inspired platformer with plenty of collect-a-thon features that are all too welcome. But it's only an enjoyable experience when it works, and after level three, it's a coin flip on whether it does.- GameGrin

Crush Your Enemies is an excellent starter RTS, and a great way to practice micromanagement, but I personally think that it’s too shallow to have a lasting presence. It’s a well polished title with a great concept, but I can’t think why I’d want to play this over something that has more to it.- GameGrin

Hunting Simulator 2 combines arcade and simulator elements to form a game that lacks much of an identity. Hardcore hunting enthusiasts will find things too simplistic; players after an animal shoot ‘em up will be frustrated by the more realistic elements. While not completely devoid of fun, it’s just too dull to fully recommend.- GameGrin

Seeing Impact Winter through to the end will be a struggle in itself. It is a shame that Impact Winter is filled with both bugs and design problems as at it’s core there are the makings of a brilliant title. For now though it is one to avoid unless you are willing to deal with the problems.- GameGrin
