While Unbox has some fun moments, I mostly enjoyed it for its mechanics and not because I found myself having all the much fun. I'm sure there are plenty of players who would find more in this title, but I just saw missed potential.

Kingdoms and Castles is an amazingly sweet experience. It currently has a lot of room to grow, but the base experience is already very satisfying -- with charming graphics and smooth gameplay, this is one of those games you can just lose yourself for hours after a hard day’s work. The best titles in the strategy genre have that amazing ability to let you accomplish something while providing you a relaxing experience, and in that regard, Kingdoms and Castles is up there with the best of them.

While not having the exploration of Minecraft, this story-centric title provides an interesting experience that will give any player a few hours of entertainment. The addition of Crowd Play makes the game far more interesting than some other Telltale games.

An interesting premise ultimately let down by poor execution and a lack of depth seen in most every other game in the genre.

For those wanting a game where stealth is the focal point, and not a subclass you choose, Aragami is most definitely for you.

Honestly, I might be pushing it with the gameplay being lackluster and the abundance of loading screens, but this game deserves credit where credit’s due. I may not have connected with it emotionally, the style of story told - whilst not for everyone - is something I’m sure will hit home or strike a chord for some people and whilst I didn’t focus on the value of loss. It definitely gave me food for thought of expressing a narrative that felt genuine and earnest.

Being rather positive of the game, it manages to stick the landing thereabouts with the narrative told and its escape room like puzzles. Even with the complaints of spoon force feeding, it gives the player enough leeway to think about world. With the abstract take working well, just not as fully realised as some might expect.

While some people may be looking for a similar experience to Super Meatboy, full of stressful levels that require some serious reflexes and problem solving, OVIVO offers the exact opposite. It’s a relaxing experience that doesn’t really challenge the mind or reflexes, instead it's more like weaving your way through a maze of fantastic artwork. Overall the game has nice simple mechanics and some lovely visuals and audio, however it falls short when it comes to difficulty, replayability, and price.

If you enjoy the god sim/sandbox genres you will be in for a treat with this title. Graphically, the game is adorable with some really lovely character models and landscapes but this game is so much more than cute dinosaurs and sweet looking lizards! Underneath it all is a surprisingly fun and addictive game with a huge amount of depth and replayability. A must have game for fans of the genre.

Felix the Reaper is a challenging puzzle game that is supposed to be a romantic comedy about life and death, but for some reason leaves the romance and some of the comedy aspects out of almost the entire game.

9 Monkeys of Shaolin is an enjoyable time for any side-scrolling beat ‘em up fan who’s eager for some engaging and varied combat, but don’t expect to be enthralled by Wei Chang’s story.

Although the game is still a good experience, every enjoyable aspect was brought with a caveat that diminished my enjoyment somewhat. It's a great idea, but its execution was not so much.

While it doesn’t do anything new for the platforming genre, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake offers innocent adventures with iconic characters across Bikini Bottom.

Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening is a fun game to sink a day, week, or lifetime into, but suffers from slightly confusing menus, odd AI, and “helpful” advisors. Regardless, the game kept me coming back time after time, trying to find my own Awakening.

A few issues aside, Astor: Blade of the Monolith may be lacking in some areas, but the fast-paced combat does a good job of keeping the game entertaining.

Trash Goblin makes you play like a goblin in a nice, quirky world, with simple yet addictive gameplay. However, I really would recommend changing the settings to save your hands from cramps.

Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo is a game that exceeds expectations. It never fully outshines the competition, but it does enough on its own to make it worth your attention.

Wheel World is a cyclist’s haven, with tons of challenging races to beat, lands to cycle through, and heaps of customisation options to create your perfect bicycle. Highly recommended.

Fobia - St. Dinfna Hotel is a gorgeous game with awesome puzzles and a cinematic experience. It just won't be the game for you if combat is essential to you.

Though Lichtspeer may not be the deepest experience around, its confluence of moreish gameplay and eye-catchingly ice-cool presentation is a devilishly fun time that has the potential to spear ol’ boredom right between the eyes.

A polished, well put together remaster of a game that never really got a fair shake during its original release. If you like mecha punching each other or the idea of piloting one in VR is your thing you can do a lot worse than giving Zone of the Enders The 2nd Runner: Mars a go.

Hyper Parasite is a very challenging rogue-like game that features a lot of cool ‘80s inspired characters and a cool mechanic that has you playing as a parasite taking over different host bodies to survive. The game might not look great but is still addictive to play.

Conga Master Party is a really fun game to play, particularly in multiplayer. It’s a real throwback to the primary mobile games, a time when Smartphones were non-existent. Full 360 degree movement, colourful graphics, a quirky soundtrack, and a good progression system make this game a solid entry for indie titles on the Switch.

Despite some design missteps, Pinstripe is worth your time if you're a fan of games that bring the feels.

Knockout Home Fitness is perhaps not the best fitness game on the market but makes for a decent starting point for those wanting a bite size workout at home.

Overall involvement of the game is enjoyable and entertaining. It will test even the best of gamers, as balance is key. It gets docked points for its faults that cannot be ignored, also for its lack of bypass ability when getting stuck on levels. Worth sampling, especially if the food industry interests you.

Despite a non-existent and samey plot, Hoa offers a great, beautiful experience with tiny details that engulfed me into its world.
