Derpy Conga is a challenging and satisfying puzzle game featuring a huge cast of derpy-looking characters, who chain together to explore and get past obstacles in their way.

A fun, if brief journey through an unsettling world, A Tale of Paper: Refolded takes inspiration from some of the genre’s best to create a title well worth playing.

Duck Paradox is good but it will require a lot of patience and skill to get through 30 stages in one run. Patience, multitasking, and a little luck will go a long way. Just make sure you don’t go too crazy.

Room to Grow stands apart from anything else available in the puzzle game market. It may not inspire a whole new era of puzzle gaming, but it does provide a novel and genuinely challenging experience.

Reality Break is an excellent action RPG that approaches its roguelite elements in a unique way that keeps making me come back for more, and I’m sure that its newest content update delivers more on what players love already. Check it out if you haven’t already!

HELLDIVERS 2 is worth going through hell to experience its gameplay and world, but server issues and glitches will rain on that campaign. Still, there’s nothing quite like diving in, feet first.

A great retro style shoot ‘em up with beautiful visuals and a large selection of weapons and a bunch of replayability. I just wish the game was longer as it felt like it was over in no time!

Pacific Drive is like a road trip: It requires a lot of preparation and planning, but the journey is always worth the experience. Just watch out for the radiation.

A high score with the caveat that it’s a VN that kept me thoroughly entertained through its thick and thin, highs and lows, as well as the assumption that this is the culmination of series as whole.

If you don't mind the relatively ugly graphics at times and are interested in trying out a boomer shooter that encourages a bit more strategy, then SPRAWL might just be the perfect title for you.

Planet Coaster 2 is one of the pinnacles of the theme park simulator genre and while it doesn’t have a smooth learning curve for newcomers, it’s safe to say that those who have already mastered its systems will enjoy it immensely.

I initially booted up Guardians of the Galaxy with tempered expectations but was surprised with how much fun I ended up having. Despite having a few setbacks, Guardians of the Galaxy is easily one of the best games of the year thanks to its fantastic story.

If you're not put off by heavy themes, I couldn't suggest this title more; Bramble: The Mountain King is one of the few titles of this genre I wish I had played sooner.

Baldur’s Gate has been left intact and is allowed to shine as a gaming classic. New players needn’t be scared away, with a small amount of patience even D&D beginners will find a rewarding experience here.

A mature, aesthetically splendid debut that charms effortlessly by virtue of its poetry-driven narrative, quaint artistry, and subtle humour. Occasionally obscurity aside, Milkmaid of the Milkyway is a stellar little gem.

Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles is a stunning and fantastic game. If you visit for the story or the wildlife, you will find yourself staying for all that this title has to offer. With a number of quests and different gameplay mechanics working together to build a world of mystery and wonder. This title is easily one of this years best surprises and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Immortals of Aveum’s greatest flaw is missing the target in marketing. It may not be the best FPS adventure, but it has a very enjoyable narrative and great (albeit few) full-fledged spell-flinging fights that I couldn’t get enough of.
