I think the game designers needed to put more effort into this game. This game is really fun and enjoyable but comes up short as far as graphics and sound.

Gears of War for the PC is a great game and one that is especially well built in many areas, it may be a port for some of the gameplay and levels but it does not feel like one at all.

As far as edutainment games goes, My Word Coach is one of the better ones I have spent time with and one in which nearly anyone age 8 or older should be able to get something out of.

The one downfall of the software is that it has no way of testing you if you know how to pronounce the words and phrases correctly or not, but at least it does provide that voice record / compare tool which helps you learn that on your own a bit.

Modern Combat is just about as perfect a game as you can get. It falls short of total perfection only because it really doesn’t evolve the FPS genre in any significant way – not that I know what that might be, but I’d know it if I saw it.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Combat is easily the best game in the history of the franchise, at least from a technical standpoint. I didn’t find it nearly as immersive or personally rewarding as I did the previous WWII games where I actually came away having learned something, but that is the risk you take when you abandon history and delve into fiction.

Older gamers will tire of the repetitive mini-games and missions, but younger kids will get a kick out of mastering the awkward controls.

Shrek: Ogres and Dronkeys is not necessarily a terrible game, it is more that it just does nothing to stand out from the crowd of pet simulators that are already saturating the market.

It’s a learning adventure geared towards young children. If you’re a parent looking for a game to entertain and teach you child something this is the game for you.

There are not many games out there that incorporate learning and are still a super fun for kids to play. This game will put a good impression in your kids mind. It contains no violence and it’s very interactive. Your kids can learn to count and speak a little Spanish at the same time.

Culpa Innata is certainly a playable title, and given the state of adventure gaming, gamers who generally like games of the mystery/adventure variety may find Culpa Innata to be at least on par with other games of its ilk and find it an enjoyable experience.

Whimsical, lighthearted, and youngster-friendly, Pirates of the Caribbean online can be an enjoyable swashbuckling diversion for the entire family, especially if you’re planning to plunder the seas together as a crew.

Yet hope for new patches springs eternal, and Garriott's crew promise to release player housing, new planets to explore, vehicles, and a more robust PVP system in the near future. How the developers capitalize on those promises will determine whether Tabula Rasa becomes a true sensation, or just a cult classic.

Bee Movie Game is easily one of the first platform-style action games that can truly be called “next-gen”. It’s also one of the best movie-inspired games in its genre.

This game can become repetitive. Some of the jobs can become boring after doing them ten or more times, but I think younger gamers will find this game entertaining and a great enhancement to the movie.

Vicarious Visions has achieved a nice presentation with Bee Movie, but the watered-down gameplay is sure to wear on experienced gamers. The game is perfect for the younger set, but older gamers might want to look elsewhere.

Super Collapse is a classic game that almost everyone can enjoy. If you want a fun game that you will never get tired of this is the game for you.

I think this game is a great family game. However, this game only took me about 45 minutes to complete. A young child with some gaming skill would probably have this game beat with an hour and a half.

All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this game to anybody as a purchase unless you really loved the first game and just couldn’t wait for another installment.

This isn’t a bad game. It’s just like most other arcade space shooters, except this has a Battlestar Galactica skin. Great if you are a fan, but for everyone else… ehhh.

Clive Barker’s Jericho will likely appeal to a certain group of gamers just from the implied pedigree, but the truth is that the uninspired gameplay, linear levels, horrid AI, and merely average presentation values keep this game from ever gripping you like any of Clive’s movies.

If you're into the character Conan or the action/adventure "hack and slash" style genre then you owe it to yourself to spend an evening or two with this game. Sometimes the guilty pleasures in life are the best kind.
