The level of challenge and degree of difficulty ramps up smoothly over the course of the game, and all passage of time will slip by, as you become immersed and even hypnotized by the dazzling graphics and stunning music in Child of Eden; one of the most original games I've ever played on the Xbox 360, with or without the Kinect.

Warlords adds even more to a game that started out great and only continues to be an excellent turn based strategy game.

If you love a good strategy game or have the slightest interest in authentic military tactics then Full Spectrum Warrior is not only fun, it’s even a bit educational, and a must-own game.

Vanquish is a mix of Zone of Enders (anyone remember that game) and Iron Man with firearms. The action is relentless, the challenge is immense, the settings are breathtaking, and the feeling you have when it's all over is indescribable.

In short, Shatter is a really enjoyable re-imagining of a time-tested genre that adds the fun of physics, snazzy graphics, and a phenomenal soundtrack to a favorite classic.

There are numerous new additions and enhancements, and while features like the Game Face continue to disappoint, others like the GamerNet Challenges, Performance Coach, and Club Tuner really elevate the experience and add a whole new level of realism and immersion into the Tiger Woods franchise.

By fixing some of the prior title’s technical wrongs, and by including space-based combat and an attempt at an actual storyline, Pandemic and Lucas Arts have finally produced a game that has a little bit of something for every Star Was fan and non-fan alike.

Darwinia is immersive, with a quality mix between unique game play and off-the-wall graphics. This title isn’t particularly successful, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see some of the elements that Introversion has brought to the table appear in future RTS titles.

Combines classic elements of the best wrestling games to see the light of day, such as excellent animation/facial mapping, a wide assortment of events/wrestlers and a solid soundscape.

Puzzle Quest uses a very good balance of the puzzles and the RPG theme to create an overall well made game that is interesting and yet challenging.

Whether you are five or sixty-five, you are going to love LocoRoco if you give it half a chance. The controls are so simple that anyone can master this game in just a few minutes, and the addictive gameplay will keep you coming back for more wacky action for months to come.

The controls are tight, the visual presentation polished, and the gameplay is better than ever.

The staggering system requirements are a point of concern, though, and I feel I can't give the title a universal stamp of approval without a word of caution. But if you've got the hardware, it's an electrifying experience you can't pass up.

The Diskarmor is one of the most innovative weapons of all time and with the three versions and dozens of combos and unique attacks the possibilities for creatively dispatching your enemies is nearly endless.

If you are looking for a true MMORPG and not a fan of "dungeon crawlers", PSO may not be for you. With that said, I detest dungeon drawlers and thrive on the complexity found in games like Ultima Online but still enjoyed my time with Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 & 2 immensely.

A surprisingly addictive and enjoyable game that starts off rather slow, and then quickly sucks the gamer in with its high-intensity tower defense gameplay.

Truth is, beyond the crassness of its Story mode, THUG 2 is not radically different from last year’s game. There’s not a whole lot new here aside from a few gimmicks and some off-the-wall elements.

If you enjoy intense racing, against the clock or against other cars, realistic scenery, and the occasional fender bender, you won’t find a better racing game than DiRT. Rally racing has been reborn...welcome to the next generation.

The game designers set out to capture that thrill of tearing off on an unstoppable temper tantrum and they nailed it.

The improved interface and totally configurable controls along with some superior graphics definitely make this the version of Fable you want to play.

So easy to pick up and play that you are bound to have fun, even if you don't know what you are doing. You can stumble your way into some of the most excellent combos you can see without memorization or perfect timing.

The sheer scope of this game is staggering, which only makes the level of challenge and perfectly balanced combat that much more impressive. If you are a fan of either franchise or just want to play an awesome fighting game then don't even think about skipping Street Fighter X Tekken.

Thankfully, the new weapons and vehicles really mask most of the sameness, and the massively complex levels are easily the best of any in the genre. Even after hours and hours of gameplay I can still get lost in them.

Sine Mora has something for pretty much anyone interested in shoot-em-ups. Whether you're new to the genre or a seasoned veteran, there's a lot to love, and for its price, it's hard to turn it down. If you're at all interested in the genre or action games as a whole, there's no reason not to check out Sine Mora.

Need for Speed: Shift is named well, as it marks a monumental shift in game design for the franchise.

Whether you just like to tinker with a nice assortment of exotic sports cars or have a general distaste for law enforcement, there is something here to appeal to everyone including a clichéd story with campy acting and hot racing babes that are more suited to be on the hood of your car rather than driving their own.

With the scope of this title, the online support, the unmatched replay value-Hearts of Iron II should keep the most hardcore of strategy gamers satiated in fighting, researching and leading their respective nation to the top of the food chain.

But with charming characters, fun scripted events, and the chance to play with past and future versions of yourself, you can't help but have a great time with TimeSplitters: Future Perfect.

Puzzle games have always been on the boring side to me. Most puzzle games follow a certain standard. Crush starts its own standard, and I have a hunch that many games will try and replicate it.

This is puzzle game perfection and one of the most stylish games I've played on any system, mobile or console. I can't wait to see what this visionary studio comes up with next.

In all fairness, this game simply doesn’t measure up to the competition or even the expected level of improvement you should get with a new installment within an established series.

The game isn’t a perfect 10 but its close. I definitely recommend that you pick up Bleach: The Blade of Fate as soon as you can. If you're a die-hard fan or you just want a good fighter, then look no further.

Lumines: Electronic Symphony is one of those rare games with no end. Sure, you'll end up moving on sometime down the road but for now, you won't find a more addictive puzzle game out there for the Vita; certainly not one with this much intensity and compulsive competition, for yourself and other players. I'd even go as far as recommending a digital purchase so you'll have this game ready to go at all times without having to fumble around for the cartridge.

There’s always something new to discover!

You simply can't imagine what Treyarch has done with the franchise until you see Call of Duty 3 in action. You'll wonder how they got all that game into an Xbox. They have really mastered the technical horsepower of the Xbox and advanced the series in every single way.

After taking the tutorial and discovering the nuances of submission wins, I found myself addicted to the career mode.

For gamers like me – who simply like to have a deep, challenging and fun romp through a mystical and medieval world – Fable fits the bill perfectly.

I truly never expected Sony to drop a baseball game of this caliber in my lap, especially after the endless string of duds that have rolled out of 989 Studios of late. In fact, MLB 06 alone very nearly makes up for the seven years of bunk since, well... darn, let’s see..."Coolboarders 2."

The graphical boost is undeniable, but the cost in framerate and odd technical glitches may be too high.

Most of the changes and improvements in Raven Shield are more evolutionary than revolutionary, but Raven Shield is by far the best game in the Tom Clancy series and easily the best “thinking man’s” FPS game currently available.

It is definitely a more personal experience than Killzone 3 or even past Resistance games, with a more focused story and linear mission path featuring higher stakes - fighting for family, friends, and the entire world.

Robokill kicks some serious shooter butt on the iPad. It is my new addiction and guilty pleasure, and the way it's designed you can pick up and play one or two rooms or a few dozen.

Most of the new stuff seemed tacked on for the sake of having something new, and for a skateboarding game I found myself doing a whole lot of stuff "off the board". It kind of reminded me of all the on-foot missions in "Driver 3."

This is a new Castlevania for a new generation of console and gamer that you do not want to miss.

I can only imagine the sequel and hopefully the chance to play as one or more of the other Horsemen, but until that day arrives, Darksiders is the ultimate quest for vengeance and a heavenly way to dispatch the endless demon hordes, proving once and for all that it is better to serve in heaven than rule in hell.

The Catacombs expansion only adds to what is still the best guild and realm based MMORPG. With its much-improved graphics and new instance dungeon zones there has never been a better time to own this game.

Hits the nail on the head in every aspect of game design. While not a perfect title, it’s hard to fault a developer who packs so much variety and intensity into a single game.

Hardcore action gamers can expect 12-15 hours of intense combat for the single-player campaign, but once you go online there is no limit to the fun you can have with this game. Much like the games before it, Tribes: Vengeance is a virtual sandbox just waiting for the mod community to get their talented hands on it.

Neversoft did an admirable job, especially considering they had to take a legendary franchise and rebuild it from scratch. But for a series that I have traditionally given perfect scores and continuous editorial awards, I can’t help but feel a bit let down by some personally distasteful music and poor note designs.

GTR Evolution is a great racing simulator that is very realistic and a great game with all the right features and realism you could ask for. GTR Evolution has tracks made from real world sites and plenty of real cars for an overall well made game.

Sure, the levels and even the gameplay get a bit repetitive at times, but there is always great action and the potential to share that action with your friends, and that is what really make this game rise above its predecessors and a total joy to play.

The motion controls might be a bit gimmicky, and just about gave me a case of tennis elbow – but the storyline and characters make Bully one of the best games on the market.

Yeah, this is a bit of a button masher, but there is enough style to the game and depth to the system that you can get beyond this.

A fine addition to the long running series, but it doesn't do anything new or groundbreaking. It’s more of the same, and for many that's exactly what they are looking for.

An amazing port of the PS2, perhaps the best port of any major title to a handheld yet. Considering the nature of the control scheme I was impressed that the designers managed to keep this game functional and fun to play.

With a unique and deep battle and level system, a good storyline, interesting characters, well balanced gameplay and plenty of eye and ear candy, Odin Sphere is an awesome game that will most likely go on any action and RPG fan's list of favorites.

A finely crafted, if unoriginal, sci-fi shooter. Every aspect of the game has quality shining through it. The single-player, basic story aside, is at heart a fun and enjoyable game. The same can be said about the multiplayer.

Going back and playing as that little blue hedgehog from my childhood was enough to sell me on this game. On top of that I had the pleasure of playing Golden Axe, and Virtua Fighter 2 along with many of the other games that I played as a child. This could possibly be one of my favorite PSP titles on the market.

It's good to be bad. That's the core idea behind City of Villains, and although it doesn't let you be as wicked as you might like to be, it remains a very good game.
