A game with a severe identity crisis. On one hand, it strives to be an incredible role-playing experience; on the other hand, it attempts to lure gamers in with the promise of old school shoot'em up action. What it delivers is an amusing amalgamation of both worlds that is cleverly designed so that neither aspect overwhelms the other.

The engine is solid, the graphics are great, the AI is smart, but there are too many things about it that work against it and oftentimes these problems are simply based on the fact that it is too similar to other games in the genre.
