The control scheme is very confusing and comes with a very tough learning curve. Slowdown at key points in game play was also a reoccurring problem.

Overall, Prince of Persia: The Fallen King for the DS is a fun little game for gaming on the go.

I'm not sure if a couple of exclusive mini-games are reason enough for people that have played Pirates! in the past to revisit it. Having not played it before myself, I certainly did enjoy myself despite a few issues.

While the gameplay is pretty solid, control issues and visual glitches take away from some of the fun.

For those that enjoy karaoke, or those who are Abba fans and still clinging to your PS2, SingStar Abba is most likely a no-brainer of a purchase.

Need for Speed Undercover is the best NFS game since Most Wanted but there are still a few more areas which need to be improved before we call Undercover the Need for Speed champ.

On the bad side, we have shallow gameplay, unbalanced game elements (even when squad members are killed, they just pop back up later when the storyline needs them), and boring level design.

The best way to describe The Biggest Loser on the DS is as a weight loss and healthy eating tool. I found more value in the calorie counter, calculator, and recipes than I did the exercise portion of the title.

Alpha Protocol, for the most part, can be a somewhat enjoyable game. The storyline was great but the notable issues like the voice acting, less than spectacular graphics, and frustrating glitches, really bring this title down a few notches.

As far as NBA 08 on the PS3 is concerned it continues to fall short of other great b-ball games on the system.

I would have to say that this track pack is a solid addition to the Rock Band family even if it might seem a little on the expensive side.

Overall, Split/Second for the PSP is a decent arcade racer for gaming on the go. Sure it has its share of issues that include some sluggish controls, rubber-band and collision detection concerns. Yet there is plenty of bang for your buck and fans of the next generation version of the game should enjoy this scaled back version.

I think the biggest downer is the missing franchise mode. How else is one to see how their management skills translate to the product on the court?

Not all arcade games work successfully when ported to a console; this is sadly no exception.

The game ultimately comes across as unfinished and unfortunately gets thrown into that large group of movie based games that have failed to live up to gamers expectations.

The main selling feature of this game, the control, has some really great ideas, however this time around they were not fully realized and the promises of great wii-mote control just never fully panned out.

With future patches, and possible future downloadable content, I know I for one will be playing SOCOM for a long time to come.

Overall, Clive Barker's Jericho is somewhat of a disappointment. I was hoping for another great horror game just in time for the Halloween season but this was not the case as the storyline and character design is not enough to save this game which is flawed on many different levels.

Visually, Monsters vs. Aliens is a solid looking game and features some of the best looking Dreamworks animated characters experienced on a next-generation console to date.

Although the shot method utilized in this game is great, average graphics and other control issues, combined with some questionable A.I, bring down the overall score of this title.

Simply speaking, graphics were better than I had expected, sound was very disappointing, and gameplay was solid.

Overall, Kane and Lynch 2 is best left as a weekend rental. While the story and characters can be entertaining at times, the repetitive gameplay and lackluster visuals prevent this game from being considered a must buy for shooter fans and Xbox 360 owners alike.

A definite must have for any "Star Trek" fan.

MX vs. ATV Alive is a pretty good experience. Well many people out there may slam THQ for trying to offer a somewhat stripped down experience for a cheaper price in an effort to sell more DLC, I have to applaud them as they have indeed tried to make this a very customizable experience.

Ys Chronicles is an excellent gaming history lesson that will grow on you, should you allow it. However, this game simply isn't made of the same stuff that Felghana and SEVEN are. It feels antiquated and old-hat, but give it a chance, and you're likely to enjoy it.
