No serious competition for FIFA Street. The gameplay is not dynamic and badly coordinated. Only the campaign mode is somewhat fun.

The missing NFL license is a big let-down. Combined with the rather clunky gameplay, you should better switch to the big competitor.

Mario Kart meets Project Gotham Racing – Blur is fascinating with its power-ups and his motivational factors. Sad but true: the graphics are no highlight.

Undisputed 2 has a much better career mode than his predecessor. It’s a lot of fun to level up your own fighter and learn new techniques. Only the poor soundtracks trouble the good gameplay and graphics.

ModNation Racers is a fun-racer that actually makes fun at the beginning. The black humour and the great editor guarantee lots of amusement. But soon the enemy difficulty gets frustratingly high and the long-time motivation is missing due to weak multiplayer modes.

Although there are not that many innovations - challenging levels, ingenious level design and a high degree of variety make Super Mario Galaxy the best Jump 'n' Run on the market.

More light than shadow: Alan Wake is a fairly good game with an excellent mystery story. Unfortunately the gameplay could be a bit more diversified and more shock moments would be great.

While being an okay game, the DS version doesn't quite live up to his bigger next-gen brother.

The latest PoP reminds us of the old Sand of Time-gameplay when you fight with its mix of fighting, jumping and climbing. The first half of the The Forgotten Sand feels fresh and exciting, but then the fun runs through a rapid decline and ends much too early.

The king is dead. Long live the king! Red Dead Redemption is the new milestone in the history of Open-World-Games and an adventure that is epic in almost every respect – the suspenseful story, the exciting missions, the phenomenal panorama view – if you ignore the small glitches and bugs RDR could be your Game of the Year.

Crash and burn! Split/Second is action-packed and furious fun with a cool 'Powerplay' feature making it possible for you to cause gigantic explosions. This is the legitimate successor of Burnout! It's only obvious weakness is the spare multiplayer mode.

It goes back to the side-scrolling roots of the Prince of Persia series. It has a high degree of difficulty but it's well presented and quite enjoyable if you liked the old PoP-games.

The coop mode of Lost Planet 2 rocks the crap out of you. The giant boss fights are one of the videogame highlights of the year. But speaking of crap: The enemy AI and save game system could be much better solved.

Skate 3 is an (almost) perfect skateboard simulation. It eliminates many failures of its predecessor such as the bad walking controls. The skating is easy to learn and the create-a-park editor extends the experience. Well done!

Super Size Me in the Middle Ages. A funny mixture of role-playing game, comic visuals and a humorous story. The fights are huge, but often end up in chaotic and confusing bashing.

Square Enix' attempt to create a great action-roleplaying experience is a little disappointing. The game's world is big and the characters interesting, despite the lengthy story and lame graphics. Nier wants to be a great game, but it doesn't even get Nier to that.

As always, the PlayStation Portable version isn't able to keep up with its big next-gen-brother. The controls and the game mechanics of FIFA World Cup 2010 still feel good, but the atmosphere reminds us more of a local town meeting.
