There’s a lot of attention to detail in the levels and environments, from weather effects to volumetric lighting. It all makes up for the simple character models and sometimes less than spectacular visuals.- Cinescape

The beat 'em up is a genre that has quietly faded to the side and hasn't had many revolutions on the consoles in recent years. X-Men: Legends takes that style of gameplay, adds a ton of depth to it, four-player support and quite frankly is one of the best X-Men games I've ever played.- Cinescape

While the gameplay is pretty tight, it’s the addition of charisma and squad mates that sets the game apart.- Cinescape

There are a couple of very ingenious puzzles, but these are few and far between. Often you find yourself wishing you had to do something more interesting, as the game gets repetitive.- Cinescape

For fans of the series, this may be the best game yet. It combines a Classic and Underground mode into the same game, adds new gameplay elements, and really captures the feel of a bunch of skaters goofing around.- Cinescape

It’s filled with action, and has enough RPG elements to keep it interesting (although the replay value would be subdued for a non-fan because the extras are for the fans).- Cinescape

The visuals have been given an upgrade too. Now some of the songs feature the music video for the song playing in the background. It’s really cool and one of the better features to be implemented in the game.- Cinescape

Although the characters you meet along the way try to guide you through the game, Arcanum really leaves most of what happens up to the player.- Cinescape

The graphics are one of the best parts about the game. The backgrounds are absolutely gorgeous, and the animations have all been re-worked.- Cinescape

While you may feel like you're in familiar territory if you've put in many hours on any of the previous games, the series always presents new challenges and addicting gameplay along the way.- Cinescape

If you want an absorbing game that has everything you could want, I would recommend buying Shenmue II. But you really have to be able to devote tons of time to the game.- Cinescape

While the gameplay seems like it’d be perfect for the "kill enemies, wash, rinse, repeat" syndrome, it never gets to that point due to some excellent pacing, not to mention that the fighting never seems to get too repetitive.- Cinescape

I honestly can’t fathom going back to driving a car in the next installment of "Grand Theft Auto" – the world is just so much cooler when you can explore the whole city, meaning everything up in the air as well. Manhattan becomes a giant jungle gym for Spider-Man to play in, and it is a blast.- Cinescape

The one downfall of this game is that it becomes easy over a short amount of time. Even against the toughest teams, the game becomes fairly simple once you have mastered how to scramble and pass efficiently.- Cinescape

The multiplayer is the best reason to play the game. It’s not worth it for the one-player alone, rather for the great experience with a group.- Cinescape
