The gameplay took a hit since the last installment, but the storytelling is still superb.

"Citizen Brown" has a great overall plot that spends too much time on bland details and bland puzzles.

Once again, we have some great plot elements at the beginning and end, with really boring tasks to perform in the meantime.

The 2D platformer is not dead. Capsized proves that current-gen design philosophies and gameplay mechanics can be applied to this ancient genre, making it feel fresh once again.

SpongeBob Squigglepants is a fun game, and if it would have come out 3-4 years ago, I'm sure it would be well-received. However, the game suffers quite a bit from being nearly a carbon copy of a game that has been imitated to death.

Doesn't feel like a true upgrade to the original, and there's plenty of room for improvement. But with a lengthier single player campaign, action-packed multiplayer battles, and the promise of more game modes in the near future, all for the bargain price of fifteen dollars (and no need to waste gas to pick it up), there's certainly enough incentive to add it to your repertoire.

I think we have to just admit to ourselves that Spore and Darkspore are really not the grandiose sim-everything games Maxis wanted. They are just fun little wastes of time, and there's nothing wrong with that.

You won't replay it, but the humor is great the first time through, it's cheap, and most of the puzzles are clever.

While there is a decent amount of content to keep players occupied, Forsaken World tends to feel stale faster than it should.

There's not enough difference between the first and second Conduits to say they've made a true evolutionary breakthrough. Although Conduit 2 has more to offer in terms of environmental variety, it retains much of the original game's narrative unoriginality and awkwardness of presentation.

With forty tracks, thirteen vehicle types to master, and a fun (if somewhat basic) online mode, this is one you won't be able to put down.

Patapon 3 is here, but it's lost something since the second game. There's a missing sense of personality, which was a huge part of the appeal of Patapon 1 and 2. The core game is still great, and there's plenty of good material, but the first two games are undeniably better.

You'll spend tons of time attempting to beat the online GamerNet challenges, and pushing yourself closer to The Masters in career mode. The only annoying part of this game is its DLC course selection.

The problem with a game like SOCOM is that it can't fully commit to either its tactical roots or the more action-oriented demands of industry trends-the result is less interesting than the sum of its parts.

Visually, Mortal Kombat looks great. If you are hoping for a highly detailed, gruesome experience, then Mortal Kombat definitely delivers.

Though the 3D visuals undeniably add something to the Splinter Cell experience (and it's nice to have a functional shooter on the 3DS) too much has been stripped away from the core game to make this worth your $40.

While there isn't a whole lot you can do with a control scheme as simple as this, StarDrone manages to add new challenges and interesting twists right up until the very end. Add some trophies to the mix and, despite its flaws, StarDrone is a pretty decent value for eight dollars.

You may have a modicum of fun clambering around and slashing guards, but Rush N' Attack: Ex Patriot is a cheap, tepid re-visitation to a game that wasn't all that memorable to begin with.
