If not for the unfortunate frustrating points, which really take you out of the bleak atmosphere, I would say this would set the bar for horror excellence. Unfortunately, these small drawbacks will cause you to frequently put the game down, and that simply doesn’t mesh with a horror tone.

A deliriously, delicious, surreal dream. It's a totally unique game, the likes of which have never been seen. It would have made a better arcade game give the rather short length of the gameplay but at twenty bucks, owing it isn't much of an issue.

Sine Mora is incredibly pretty, and it features an interesting story and some unique gameplay elements. However, the checkpoint system will inevitably lead to frustration, even on the easiest difficulty. Additionally, this game is pretty short, and shouldn't take more than a few hours for those who don't spend a lot of time dying and redoing big portions of the campaign.

It will take time to learn each characters special abilities but the whole game offers some great site gags and warped humor.

Dead Aim while not perfect manages to combine the feel and game play of the RE series and add the light-gun in and it works well.

These titles are true classics from the last generation. They have been skillfully upgraded by the folks at TT Games to give us the definitive edition.

If you're up for a challange and don't mind taking on the entire Roman empire yourself, Spartan: Total Warrior is waiting.

2K6 is as strong as it ever was and while it might take vets awhile to get a grasp on the ProControl and other injections, it's still incredibly solid and has lost nothing from last years game.

I could not image a more perfect racer for a beginner or young child. This game is absolutely the bomb. It's easy to learn, easy to play and very easy on the eyes.

A highly polished JRPG that is a must-play for fans of the Persona series. Although the visuals do look a little dated, the gameplay is as solid as the most modern entries in the series and certainly won't disappoint fans or newcomers.

The bottom line is if you're smart enough to read the title, you're smart enough to know what you're buying. So anime fans play to your heart's content. I know I am!

It's amazing how much there's to do in this title: lots of levels, gameplay styles, multiplayer options, and a good level editor. It's a box full of surprises!

Battleborn is definitely a title I can get behind with its unique first person shooter approach, awesome cast of characters, gobs of weapons and power ups, and a hilarious framework to tie it all together. The game will take some getting used to and will force a few seasoned vets to step outside their comfort zone to enjoy the genus wonders that lie within. The hefty price tag may come with some initial sticker shock, especially after first firing it up, but those feeling will soon fade as you dedicate some time to Gearbox’s latest work by mowing down hordes of enemies and laughing hysterically in the process.

One of the more challenging and frustrating racers to come along in ages, F-Zero GX will give any, and I mean any, gamer one hell of a run for his money.

The only major issue I take with the game is one that I take with almost every single game put out by EA, lack of a solid instruction manual. I for one would appreciate complete information on how to play the game and use new features, what certain options do, and maybe some "rules" information for new comers to the game. I don't want cliff notes, I want the book.

Sonic Advance 3 doesn't make any significant changes to the traditional Sonic gameplay but what it does it does bigger and better than any previous handheld Sonic game before it.

Gamers who are looking for a fairly laid-back adventure with plenty of things to do and lots of fun characters to meet should definitely give Atelier Totori a try.

A well-made and fun game that will put your vocabulary to the test, and at a price of just $5, it's a good buy for Risk and Scrabble fans. It will be especially fun for gamers who have friends online who share their tastes. However, some aspects of this game are quite frustrating, so expect Quarrel to become a pleasant diversion, not an addiction.

As with most poker games World Poker Tour isn't much to look at but it does look a sight better than the PS2 version.

DOA5 lives up to the phrase "fighting entertainment" by being a game that trades mechanical depth for accessibility and flash. It's almost like a Michael Bay version of a fighting game; you don't have to think about it too hard but that's why it's so entertaining.

The animation quality is fantastic, even rivaling the movie. The voiceacting, sound effects and soundtrack are all top shelf.

Soulstorm gives you another kick at the Warhammer cat, proving that the series may indeed have nine lives.

It's a scream of a good time and even though it's not perfect, it manages to entertain almost every step of the way.

The dialog is well acted and quite humorous. The music is perfect for this game and maintains a consistently light and upbeat mood. It’s hard to be in a bad mood when you’re in Thrillville.

A fine game but in terms of depth it's a paintscratch away from the surface.
