The game will make you sweat, curse, and yell. If you're actually fairly skilled, you may curse a little less. Whatever the case may be, I bet you'll keep playing this game for a long time and even come back to it after forgetting about it.

If only the good aspects weren't constantly polluted by the aggravating nightmare portions, Shattered Memories might have been one of the best Silent Hill's yet.

There's simply so much to do that it will take many months to fully explore Rune Factory's true depth. The best part is it's fun to do so.

On an immersive level, the authenticity both in the visuals and atmosphere is astonishing. The fighting itself is intense, but requires patience, skill, and memorization to master. It's a must have for any MMA enthusiast, and one that promises months of full-bodied content in its meaty modes.

The story material is handled wonderfully (though if you've never read the books or watched the movies, prepare to be lost), and the gameplay is a great mix of familiar devices and new elements. Although the inevitable follow-up to this title may take a darker turn, I look forward to experiencing it all the same.

A valiant effort to revolutionize gaming by a courageous studio. Largely, DICE pulled it off. But, there are several nagging spots that hamper the experience; repetitive environments and interactive elements, touchy controls and occasionally poor detection, and an uninspired story leave a significant amount to be desired. Even so, I found Mirror's Edge to be a truly unique and rewarding experience that I feel fortunate to have played.

Classic RPG gaming brought to the next gen. Sure it's no political drama, and it won't have you aggressively button-mashing, but Blue Dragon promises engaging gameplay that you'll not only want to play through once, but revisit again and again.

We can't say it will bowl over modern gamers who've seen better entries in the genre, but it represents an important moment in video game history, and for that reason it's worth a download, at least of the demo.

The level of detail is amazing, although the overall quality of the game will be determined by your PC's capabilities. It's relatively easy to play but the more you get into it the more depth will reveal itself.

The story is confusing and as far as I'm concerned you might as well forget trying to figure out the whole picture. Just concentrate on completing your current mission and everything will take care of itself.

The best advice I can give beginners and lower-level players would be to ignore this expansion pack and start at the beginning, or at least at the first sequel. There just won't be enough for you to do and racking up points in this version can be an absolute grind.

A good game but it lacks replay value. Hardcore gamers could blast through this in a day so they should be advised to rent it.

The gameplay is classic Nintendo multiplayer fun and will put a smile on your face.

Without the game's being talked up so much over a period of ten months, and without the overconfident price point all that talk probably inspired, this would be a terrific value and an inspiration to indie developers everywhere. As it is, the too-easy levels, the lack of any limitations to make the puzzles more difficult, and the serious technical issues make Crayon Physics Deluxe a bit of a disappointment.

There's a lot of fun and depth to be found here for the right gamer. Furthermore, the bargain price is a real treat! Still, not everyone will enjoy this game - it's definitely for fans of arcade shooters.

With more options, more control, better graphics and user-friendly menus, especially the playbook, there is more depth to this game than any N64 football game.

Small visual shortcomings and some audio annoyances might keep Madden 12 from being 100% on top form, but with the crazy amount of content and nearly endless gameplay possibilities, these seem like minor grievances.

It gives fans precisely what they want: more of everything they're already enjoying. Some might wish for an expansion that pushes the boundaries a little more, especially when so many other MMOs are shaking up the genre with radical new ideas. But at the end of the day, Storm Legion adds a ton of fresh content, including two enchanting new continents, at a reasonable price.

If you're embarrassed to do so, just go to a different game rental outlet and ask them to put it in a plain brown wrapper. Why be content to be a fool, when you can be a dancing fool?

Space battle is the newest addition to the Battlefront series. I stand and applaud LucasArts and Pandemic for pulling off the single greatest space flight simulation game ever.

Despite its flaws, The Walking Dead: season 2: Episode 1 is still an outstanding game. It still makes you feel for its characters in ways no other game on the market does. It’s still one of the best examples of games as art our industry has to offer.

Even though this game utterly fails at attempting to appeal to most gamers, Roogoo is still one of the best puzzle games that I've played in a long time.

Muramasa Rebirth is a wonderfully enhanced version of an already terrific game that melds old-school action sensibilities with more modern complexities and a storyline that manages to feel notably mature.

The fact that this game flies under the Star Trek banner is almost ridiculous. It’s really just a shooter, but it’s a damn good shooter. It just doesn’t belong in the Star Trek universe where cooler heads prevail.
