It's been a while since I've played a good, mech battling game. After playing Rengoku: Tower of Purgatory, it's still been a while since I've played a good, mech battling game.

Once I had committed a few hours to the game and was deep inside Venice leveling up and completing quests, I was indeed drawn into the game. But the sordid path it took to get me there and the unnecessary complications of the map were beyond frustrating and would turn away most gamers.

There are a decent number of workouts to choose from, and the workout programs are a nice touch, but you'll burn more calories struggling with the controls than you will actually playing the game.

The only thing the Dukes game has in common with it is the freeroaming nature of locating missions. Once you do acquire a mission you will find that they are of a make-work nature. The entire game is linear and the sense of freedom is only an illusion.

This game is more of an action adventure without the combat. It's also a little shy on action and adventure.

This game is even worse than the show.

Take away the Robocop license, pop culture sound bytes and you've got a totally generic FPS on your hands that is completely forgettable.

There's no good reason on God's gray earth why anyone would want to play this street racing game when there are so many good ones available.

The Bloody Roar name had its day; compared to other fighters now available, the lack of depth is a serious issue.

In Dr. Mario, its all too obvious that Mario is practicing in Tetris territory without a license.

187 Ride or Die is bad - but it's not so bad that it's good. There's nothing good about it, period.

It is really hard to recommend this title, especially considering the next-gen price tag. The game is marred by technical problems and, if anything, is an exercise in mediocrity.

I was insulted having to play this game. Then I was embarrassed. Then I was enraged...The idea that kids can pilot these mechs, or that there's any reason for them to be doing so, is so ridiculous that I wish that I could reach inside my giant mech body and squish the annoying little bastards.

I’m going to be honest with you, I haven’t finished Escape Dead Island yet. I just can’t bring myself to. The game plods along at a snail’s pace and just never hooks you. It’s certainly not the worst game I have ever played, but it’s bland and generic and feels rushed and unfocused.

So much of this game is derived from Pokemon that it's shameless.

Truth be told, the entire game consists of pointing and clicking your way up a miniature mountain slope. The only effort required is staying awake. This game is so void of stimulation that it should be recommended for insomniacs.

The best tip of all is to avoid this one altogether.

Like the kart racers of fighters. It's a generic 2D fighter that has limited control and very little depth. Not recommended for hardcores.

Not only does the game look bad with last decade's graphics, but the controls are way too loose making any kind of sudden changes in direction virtually impossible.

The biggest complaint is that the games suffer from slowdown, especially when the scrolling can't keep up to the speed of the character.

I can't think of a more awful looking game. The textures are so low res that the water looks like a meadow. It reminds me of Atari's Duck Hunt. At any moment I expect the snickering dog to appear holding a fish in his paws - snickering at what a fool I've been to have purchased this game.

As stupid as this blend of car battling and wrestling may sound it's not a bad game but it's certainly not going to make any reviews' top ten list.
