If it's LittleBigPlanet, you have to play it. It's not as expansive as the PS3 version, and there's no multiplayer, but with 35+ levels and a fully-fledged level creator, there are more than enough reasons to give this game a go.

PixelJunk Shooter isn't my favorite entry from Q-Games (Eden holds that distinction), but it is one of my favorite games of 2009 - arcade or otherwise.

This is the game that "Dark Cloud" should have been. Dark Cloud 2 is truly a fantastic RPG though it really should have been entitled Dark Cloud One-and-a-half.

Is GRID the next big thing in the automotive game genre? I think so. The game has incredible arcade form, and I think the Flashback feature is one of the best new ideas we've seen come from this genre in a long time.

Where the first KH felt like more like a like an RPG in terms of item use, exploration and experimentation, KH2 feels more focused and linear and definitely falls more into the action adventure genre.

There are tons of extra moves such as two-level jumps, fireballs, hurricane kicks, dust moves, one-kill-punches and the Psych Burst which allows you to stop a combo or super move right in the middle of its execution.

The gameplay really is excellent, and though the story leaves much to be desired, the excellent combat more than makes up for this shortcoming. Between epic boss battles, beautiful environments, and one badass heroine, Bayonetta is definitely the first knock-out action game of the new year and is a great title to shake off those winter blues.

A truly immersive and extremely enjoyable experience that fans of the franchise shouldn't miss. Its innovative gameplay elements and engaging conclusion to the trilogy make this one the definitive title in the Future series.

My hype to see how Bethesda would interpret all these innovations and incorporate them into the Fallout setting turned to disappointment when I stumbled through a game that features the same poorly-implemented combat and all the same old Gamebryo engine annoyances and glitches we've been dealing with for years.

If players can get through the first hour or so of tedium where there is very little player interaction, Atlus has provided another stunning RPG experience.

Kirby's Epic Yarn is definitely up there with Super Mario Galaxy 2 as a must-have Nintendo game this year. However, what separates Kirby from everyone's red-capped plumber is that there were some serious risks taken with Kirby, and the result is something totally awesome.

DJ Hero is a lot of fun, although some hardcore DJ and audio engineering types might complain that it offers little of the creative freedom of spinning. Multiplayer modes have been improved, however.

A tour de force of high quality gameplay that doesn't suffer from the "leftovers" syndrome of so many other PSP titles, even though the courses found within the game are tweaked tracks from previous games. Even if you've played every Burnout title to date, including the recent Burnout Revenge on the consoles, BL is still going to rock your world.

SEGA has delivered a standout title, one that pushes past its strict genre boundaries and deserves to be played by not only fans of tactical RPGs, but also those that have never touched the genre. Turn-based strategy doesn't get much better than this.

The sci-fi inspired storyline will keep players interested until the very end, the enemies you fight against are numerous and deadly, the battles are grand and will challenge you even on the default settings, and the weaponry available is friggin’ sweet. Online support for 40 players and Co-op mode are icing on the proverbial cake.

For the first time in years, the game has been redesigned which completely alters the gameplay at its core. Tiburon appears not to be satisfied with just creating an entertaining representation of video football but to advance the realism so that the experience brings players that much closer to what it feels like being on the gridiron. They've succeeded.
