Blaster Master Zero is an excellent reboot of a classic action-platformer, and shouldn’t be missed by anyone who is a fan of the genre, a devotee to the franchise or is simply curious about the Blaster Master name and are looking for an effortless way in.

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! transcends its visuals and becomes its own unique entity, shattering any limitations set by previous entries in the Anime Dating sim genre, and the Horror genre. This game should be experienced by any game enthusiasts that can stomach the heavy subject matter.

Madden NFL 22 is another Madden game, with not many new features to warrant a new price label of $59.99. If you do not like NFL Football, you will not like this game. While known NFL commentators such as Rich Eisen lend their talent to this entry, it is wasted by being overshadowed by nameless voices called ‘coach’. Ultimately, if you own Madden NFL 21 and don’t NEED to play online, you could possibly skip this entry.

A unique design concept and a grand adventure await those who venture into The Vale: Shadow of the Crown with some of the finest use of voice acting to date, but those without adequate audio resources might have an incomplete experience.

Castlevania Advance Collection is a true port of four titles that offers amazing gameplay for a low price not found on eBay where these titles fetch a ransom. Every gamer should experience this collection and this is the perfect excuse to dive in a battle with creatures of the night.

Hockey is a sport that’s very confined to skating on a set rink with a standard 5 vs 5 player configuration. NHL 22 brings all the different styles the game can be played with superstar abilities tailored to the different hockey niches all gamers can appreciate.

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles acts as a great, fun reference database for the popular anime series but doesn’t present a lot of unique traits to be memorable on its own.

Forza Horizon 5 truly has it all for a racing title, depth of gameplay, customization, good online presence, fun activities… and the list goes on. With the inclusion of Horizon 5 hitting GamePass day one, I consider this a must play for all gamers, racing fans or not.

The attention to customizability and accessibility of Galahad 3093 showcased how a mech-shooting game does not need to prioritize great graphics over a game playable for everyone. [Early Access Score = 70]

Weighed down by a weak and predictable revenge plot, impossible-to-miss visual glitches and gameplay bugs, and stingy restrictions that prevent players from using any their owned equipment in matches, the Bloody Ties DLC drains much of the fun out of what makes Dying Light 2 great.

Visually, the game has a minimalistic style, a chibi style that isn’t the most original but works for something of this scale. It utilizes a wide pallet of bright colours to create an environment that is fun and inviting. I was genuinely surprised that Feritella was fully voiced, and it’s genuinely well done. There isn’t a lot of music in the game, but what’s on offer is whimsical and suits the fantasy setting.

Evil Wizard makes a bold narrative choice but feels safe everywhere else. Constant and redundant backtracking to get the right spell and inconsistent difficulty spikes make the combat loops feel like ‘just another action title’, and while that may be the case, Rubber Duck Games has fine-tuned the combat and exploration to give Evil Wizard its own identity – a challenging title with fun laughs for those who see it through to the end.
