Mario Kart World is an exciting racing game, especially online and in couch co-op. It's not the Nintendo's Forza Horizon though. We only got a mere substitute for it.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a worthy representative of the soulslike genre. For fans of digital suffering – probably the most interesting premiere of this year next to The First Berserker: Khazan. For the rest – a worthwhile title.

Death Stranding 2 is a gaming, cinematic and spiritual experience. And on top of that, it's socially engaged. Hideo Kojima does not shy away from quirks, criticism and empathy. And while he can overstep with spectacle or exposition, he has not yet been so mature in his artistic career.

The misery of Jan Dolski and the disaster of the expedition he was part of is a really good starting point for a game that stands on script, management and exploration. The Alters uses its strengths over skillfully by appropriately developing many gameplay mechanics.

In a good team, Elden Ring Nightreign is an extremely satisfying roguelite game that impresses with its depth, mechanics, and rich content. However, with balance issues and matchmaking problems, it can become a frustrating experience at times.

The shield and melee weapons haven't changed the character of Doom, it's still fast, furious and brutal. Despite my initial misgivings, The Dark Ages swept me away completely, which I particularly appreciate given that Eternal is, in my opinion, one of the weakest instalments in the series.

Visually, Croc is just severely out of date, and the gameplay itself seems too archaic to retain for long. I would only recommend it to turbofans of the original, if only for the extensive collection of bonus material.

Origins can be a lot of fun, but the game lacks freshness and boldness. The mechanics turn out to be underdeveloped and glaring with numerous bugs. Commandos fans will find something to enjoy here, but it is not the refreshing breath the genre needed.

An excellent therapeutic tool and a thoughtful study of the human psyche, allowing those affected to get back on their feet and everyone else to understand how complicated it can be to function after sexual trauma.

A really satisfying survival game, focused more on fighting the environment than monsters. At times, it doesn't communicate with the player in the best way, but manages to draw you in front of the screen with more inventions and opportunities to expand your flying house.

Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is a moderately successful soulslike game and is far from perfect. The game's biggest flaws turn out to be the unpleasant platforming elements and the repetitive minibosses.

Tempest Rising provides plenty of fun and uses familiar elements from classic RTS games, such as army and base management in the style of good old Command & Conquer. A few small steps backwards can be forgiven – there's no revolution here, but it's a solid game with wonderful music.

An engaging, intriguing story in which every element seems well thought out and fits in with the rest: from the audiovisual setting, to the authentic characters, dialogue and the plot. It's a pity that the story moves too slowly at first, and when it speeds up, it speeds up too much.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is perhaps the most enjoyable game I've had the opportunity to play since Baldur's Gate 3's debut. What a couple of dozen Frenchmen have managed to do should be an example of what single-player productions are supposed to look like.

At a time when the biggest companies are shamelessly releasing remasters of titles that are several years old, any fresh IP, especially one set in such a unique universe, is worth its weight in gold. The gameplay and story are compelling, even if it is a production from a bygone era.

Another example of a game that was not saved by a well-known creator. The author of the excellent Dragon Age has come up with a title that is a tiresome in the long run, although it has some interesting ideas. Unfortunately, the gameplay is too repetitive, and the fun quickly becomes monotonous.

The End of the Sun could be the truly Slavic game that fans of Eastern European culture have been waiting for. Folk history, a realistic depiction of a bygone era, and objects scanned by photogrammetry - it may be a simple walking sim, but it is also a remarkable project of craftsmanship.

Solid survival game, a bit hardcore in places. However, the heavy emphasis on exploration and the associated character development pays off with the opportunity to explore the British 1960s zone and play detective to unravel the mystery of the nuclear power plant.

On the one hand, Assassin's Creed Shadows is more of the same, but on the other hand, it is a new start for the series thanks to two very different playable characters. At its core, the game is a lot of fun, somewhat spoiled by the bland open world and dull missions.

A tour de force of level design and an attempt to break the world record for the number of explosions and mechanics in a single video game. Split Fiction defies genre classifications and tries really hard to impress the player. Postmodernism at its craziest.

Monster Hunter Wilds is a no-brainer for dedicated fans of the the series, but it may also appeal to fans of... hack'n'slash games, provided they can ditch the isometric view, battles with dozens of enemies and dark fantasy atmosphere in favour of epic duels and a full-on Japanese feel.

Avowed delights and disappoints. This mix of RPG and action adventure offers a great deal of freedom in terms of exploration and character development in the beginning, only to fail to exploit the full potential of the systems implemented later on. Such a shame.

A phenomenal sequel that brings the adventures of Henry of Skalitz to a a satisfying conclusion. A bold, atmospheric, brilliantly written game loaded to the brim with content. Its only problem at the moment are the bugs, so keep your fingers crossed that they get fixed as soon as possible.

Civilization VII commits the greatest sin of all strategy games - it's boring. A few tweaks to the formula have worked out well for the series, but this is the moment for either a major revolution or the development of well thought-out mechanics that worked in Civilization VI. No more half-measures.

Donkey Kong Country Returns HD is an interesting case of a Polish remaster of a Nintendo game – another fruit of Polish-Japanese cooperation right after Bloober Team's collaboration with Konami on Silent Hill 2. The gameplay remains very challenging, while the visuals are sharper and more vivid.

It is strange to call Farming Simulator 25 the next instalment when –in terms of content – it is a rather large update. On top of that, it's incomplete, ill-conceived and also suffers from poor optimisation. If you're a fan of the series, you'd be better off waiting for the big sale.

Marvel Rivals isn't just another clone of Overwatch or Team Fortress 2. Sure, it's still a classic hero shooter, but one with some fresh ideas in terms of level and character design. There's a future ahead of this game.

I feel that instead of building on the experience gained with Planet Coaster, the developers have taken a step backwards. While they added a handful of improvements to the game, they also made poor design decisions. The predecessor was groundbreaking; its sequel is merely okay.
