It's a fun little romp that returns to some of the classic elements of the GTA series after the stylistic bump in the road that was San Andreas.- Boomtown

There's at least one thing they haven't improved which they should have done though, and that's your team mates AI, I occasionally found my own team mates crashing in to me, an autosave wouldn't have hurt either, but they're just small niggles really.- Boomtown

And the inclusion of a short, after-thought of an add-on simply isn’t enough to encourage me to urge any of you to spend fifty pounds of your hard earned cash.- Boomtown

After finishing playing it for this review I promise I'll never play this game again and that speaks volumes, sadly.- Boomtown

Airborne was supposed to be a WW2 masterpiece, but it failed to be nothing more than a disappointment.- Boomtown

It’s just a shame that more wasn’t done to combat the repetitiveness as, with more variety, this could have lived up to its massive potential.- Boomtown

Despite all of the points I’ve raised, however, the only true measure of a MMORPG is whether you are still enjoying and paying to play at the end of your ‘free’ 30 days, and as of the time of this writing, I am doing precisely that.- Boomtown

The graphics are simply state of the art. Virtual Lego, and perfectly implemented.- Boomtown

Warband extends the gameplay with new features and multiplayer antics, and the hardcore enthusiasts will be able to overlook the flaws; it is the best medieval horseback combat and real time strategy kingdom building sim role playing game on the market. But then, it's the only one, and the execution of Warband never quite lives up to the excellent concept.- Boomtown

Plaster up your thumbs, buy a new control pad, call in sick and lock up your family because this little extraterrestrial is going to take over your life.- Boomtown

My only strong disappointment is the multiplayer aspects of the game. The CTF, Assault and Deathmatch games are fine enough, but the different trooper types were just crying out for some kind of class-based multiplayer action.- Boomtown

Any "Diablo" fan should lap the game up. It's a detailed, entertaining and long-lasting adventure with plenty to do and see.- Boomtown

You even get to see the coaches of the respective teams geeing-up their players and remonstrating about decisions and player misdemeanours which all adds up to the great overall presentation of the game.- Boomtown

And while the devil is in the details, the game as a whole forms such a genuinely immersive and unique experience that to let it go unnoticed would be a disservice not only to Lovecraft but one extremely talented bunch of developers.- Boomtown

What it lost in this pursuit of silver-screen-esque mayhem was subtlety and character. It's a solid First-Person-Shooter – one I would recommend to any fan of the genre – but it doesn't quite possess the same diversity as the first – something I never thought I'd miss.- Boomtown

The turn-based gameplay works surprisingly well on the PSP and the gameplay is easy to pick up and play, but packed with nuances and subtleties that you'll learn over time.- Boomtown

Not since Escape from Butcher Bay have I see melee combat so superbly integrated into a first-person game, and so it's clear that ACE Team has put their heart and soul into bringing Zeno Clash to life.- Boomtown

Plenty of gloriously explosive action is complimented by depth and variety.- Boomtown

The similarities between it and the first Killzone are tenuous at best, but each and every change is a welcome one when a game as polished as this gets released.- Boomtown

Miss the golden age of retro? You’ll have a blast with The Last Guy, and while it’s easy enough for most people to get through if you’re dedicated enough, getting the top grade in any level is enough of a challenge to keep the hardcore working on it for days.- Boomtown

Ultimately, it is a relief for me, as a huge fan of the series, a little disappointed by Escape From Monkey Island to see it back to its full strength, and not being milked with sub standard entries just for the cash.- Boomtown

The war waging is brilliant, but diplomacy, speed, user interface etc robs the game of a better score.- Boomtown

At its worst, Nexus is painfully ponderous and distantly detached. At its best it's visually stupendous sci-fi spectacular with depth as well as style. The 2001 of Real Time Strategy if you will.- Boomtown

A return to form for a series that was beginning to loose its way.- Boomtown

While the next gen consoles got a new facelift the PC version seems to have been an afterthought.- Boomtown

The story and general game play is very good. The game on a whole is good but is no better than Star Wars or any worse for that matter. It’s just a shame it’s let down by some poor finishing in places.- Boomtown

A lazy effort. Xbox Live play is poorly implemented and those seeking online racing are better off trying the PC version.- Boomtown

Developers have struggled to create control methods that would allow console games to host the kind of strategy games the PC enjoys. Here Ubisoft has nailed it. So it's just a shame that the strategy game that was tacked onto it is so light.- Boomtown
