Caroline Marshall’s first independent project may not have panned out exactly as planned, but it shows enough potential in its story telling to convince some to give it a try, and if you already own a Game Pass subscription then you are just investing your time, which will probably worth it.

There is no denying that Sniper Elite 5 is the best game yet by Rebellion and the most complete entry in the series, but could it take the franchise to the next level and transform it from a mediocre experience to a top of the bar shooter? The answer is probably no.

The first 15 minutes of Darksiders Genesis is enough to prove that it's far better than Darksiders 3, and shows why Airship Syndicate should continue to work on the series. If you are a fan of the genre, Genesis is definitely one of your top choices.

The remastered version of Darksiders for Nintendo Switch is a journey to the end of the world, and at the same time a journey back to what we already experienced in the series, and expected that some of them would improve. The gameplay is exactly the same as before, with all the pros and cons, and even the visuals are not worthy of a remastered title. All in all, the remastered version of Darksiders is nothing more than a simple port for the Switch platform.

The Shapeshifting Detective tries so hard to create a game that looks like movies, but it has failed to fulfill its potentials and the final product is a somehow shallow experience without much replayability values.

It is safe to say that WWE 2K19 takes the crown from its predecessor by giving another shot to the 2K Showcase and implementing several improvements in gameplay and sound design, and convinces the players to spend more time playing it; and although some issues are still remaining, the WWE 2K series has the potential to become one of the best sports series in the coming years.

Beholder 2 is an entertaining title with high replay values due to having several endings, and if you didn’t get a chance to try it on PC or Switch before, now is the best time to go for it on either PS4 or XBOX1. Be warned though, that the endings that are expecting you are gonna be some of the most dramatic ones you have ever experienced.

Unto The End is a mix of the things that you love and the things that you hate, but it's an entertaining journey nonetheless. The developers managed to create an entertaining yet challenging game, although the balance between the two is not always there.

Gameplay-wise, MotoGP 19 is a success as it offers tons of different modes and contents, but visuals-wise, it could have done a lot better. Better visuals mixed with exciting commentary could have made MotoGP 19 one of the best moto racing titles in recent years, but eventually it settles to only entertain the really hardcore fans of the genre.

MotoGP 20 simply cannot be considered a new game, not even a big update, as it doesn't add much to the 2019 version, and although the gameplay matured through the years, the 2020 version of the game doesn't offer enough new content to justify its price tag.

Assassin's Creed Mirage takes the series back to where it all began, and while it feels great to take a break from more and more complex RPG gameplay that we've seen in the past few entries, it is not necessarily a step forward for the series as the game becomes too boring too fast. Mirage is still a great action adventure, but maybe a balance between Role Playing gameplay and linear story telling would be what this series need to find its path again.

All in all, Planet Coaster 2 is a massive improvement over its predecessor, and new additions such as the Water Park make it a more complete package. It’s a great experience for fans of the city-builder and simulation genre, but the steep learning curve and overall complexity of the gameplay will probably push away the more casual players.

Despite numerous efforts and innovations, FC 25 remains in the shadow of FIFA’s golden era. While promising new features like FC IQ and AI Behavior signal progress, the past few years have been challenging. The path ahead for the EA Sports FC series looks even more difficult as it strives to recapture the glory of its predecessor.

Ancient Gods is not necessarily a bad expansion pack, but the original DOOM Eternal was so good and even small changes in the wrong direction can hurt the experience. In Ancient Gods case, the uneven difficulty and confusing story seem to be those wrong changes that topple DOOM Eternal from the top a little bit.

As an adventure game Roki doesn't have much repeatability values, and some modern gamers might ignore it due to its 20$ price tag, but if you are willing to spend around 10 hours solving puzzles and stuff, Roki is probably a very good option for you.

WWE 2K22 manages to polish a lot of issues from the previous game, but it’s still not quite there yet. The good thing though is that it seems they put the first stone right, and the future of the series could be bright.

Although WRC 10 is not as big a step forward as WRC 9 was, it still offers a lot of improvements. The 50th anniversary mode is also a very welcomed addition and mixed with the return of many legendary drivers, the final package is more or less exactly what Rally fans would want in a game.

Disney’s Epic Mickey Rebrushed is full of new ideas and innovations and offers an interesting story in a dark fantasy world that is nothing like our perception of Disney’s world. The use of a paintbrush and other mechanics related to it in gameplay make Epic Mickey a very unique platformer experience, but issues such as inconsistent controls, bad camera, and repetitive missions eventually prevent it from becoming one of the best in the genre.

If you look at Mafia: Definitive Edition as an action adventure game that released in 2020, you can have some great moments with it, although it's not flawless, but if you have already experience the original Mafia game back in 2002, you'll probably feel that something is missing. The Definitive Edition looks much, much better visually and packs some cool new gameplay mechanics, but it is just not the good old Mafia that everyone fell in love with.

Still the best Basketball simulation game on the market, NBA 2K22 does good but not enough to break into the 9th generation of gaming hardware as the PS5 version of the game is only superior to its PS4 counterpart in terms of visuals, and the RPG-like My Career mode and heavy reliance on microtransactions keep dragging it down.

Control AWE may not be a true and fully fledged DLC, but it won't disappoint. There are some overly challenging moments here and there, and some more cut-scenes would have helped, but AWE is still a better DLC than Foundation overall, and a great gift for the fans of Alan Wake.
