Offering improvements to Career Mode and introducing new modes like Ultimate Team and Knockout Mode, EA Sports UFC 2 builds upon the already solid gameplay and presentation to bring fans a fun experience for yourself or with friends that are either a fan of UFC or just can’t wait for a new Fight Night game.

Pokken Tournament is a fun mash up of traditional fighting games and Pokemon. The game actually takes a lot of risks, but some of them don't pay off. A larger roster of Pokemon to choose from would help as well.

It may not be a big change on a fundamental level, but Samurai Warriors 4: Empires does enough differently to warrant fans to come back for another round of hack ‘n’ slash fun.

Whether you've never experienced the game before or are eager to check out what's new, Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition is an experience you'll be sure to love.

Taking the loot-based shooter to a new level, The Division features a gorgeous world to explore, full of interesting items to collect, and tons of players to team up with. The enemies are still bullet sponges, and the missions can get repetitive, but the social elements allow for a lot of fun to be had once you get a good group together. An engaging story and enjoyable characters are just icing on the top of what will likely be one of the best shooters of the year.

The wait has been long for a new Hitman game, and good as it may be, this one's going to have you waiting even longer for the full experience.

While an improvement over the original release, The Witch and the Hundred Knight: Revival Edition still has its problems. The weak story and annoying characters are still front and center, though the Tower of Illusion is a nice new diversion from them. If you're a hardcore Nippon Ichi fan give it a shot, but pretty much everyone else can give it a pass.

A unique and excellent adventure, with puzzles and mystery at every turn. Although its main appeal will be to retro gamers, there are enough strong qualities to attract those who may not normally play within this genre. Graphics and soundtrack are charming and a joy to experience.

It has its shortcomings, but Return To PoPoLoCrois is worth checking out for anyone craving an old-school RPG adventure.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is a fantastic upgrade to an already magnificent game. Certainly, it hasn't aged as well as some of the other games in the series, but the work done to bring it to the Wii U fixes most of the problems that could have arose. Nintendo also tweaked a bunch of gameplay elements, on top of adding in Gamepad support, making for the definitive way to play one of gaming's best adventures.

Superhot is a fascinatingly unique take on the shooter genre. Its time manipulation mechanics truly alter the gameplay, making it feel more like a puzzle game than a standard shooter. Great visual and audio design push the game to even higher levels, but the experience might feel a bit short for those who aren't total completionists.

Hitman GO is just as good on PlayStation as it was on iOS and Android, and the updated visuals and amount of content at a great price that the Definitive Edition offers will keep you coming back for more and more.

A very rough start for an extremely promising series. Pacing and story issues abound, and the feeling at the end of the 90-120 minute adventure is that it was all setup with no true payoff. Whether that payoff comes in future episodes will determine if this is a worthy successor to the excellent series.

While the time period itself may be a far cry from the rest of the series, the game still manages to feel like a natural progression with some core gameplay elements intact, while also adding plenty of content that makes Far Cry Primal feel likes it own distinct experience.

Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition offers so much more than what the base game did, while also improving upon the already solid base game at the same time. This is easily the definitive way to play Dying Light.

Overall though, this is the same sports gaming masterpiece that it was last year, and is worthy of joining any Xbox One owner's library.

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 improves on its already great predecessor in a bunch of ways. New characters, game modes, and other modifications make for a better, though very familiar experience. This is definitely an iterative sequel, offering nothing revolutionary, but for those that want more PvZ action, it'll easily fit the bill.

A captivating story and strong cast of supporting characters, along with the very well designed gameplay and impressive breadth of pure content make Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright, Conquest, and Revelation a must own trilogy for the Nintendo 3DS.

Although it still has much to achieve, Street Fighter V is already a very impressive comeback for the iconic fighting series. Stunning visuals and new fighting mechanics add to this game's already winning formula. Though it is promised for later, missing content is a disappointment. What is here is good enough quality to please fans though.

An excellent horror experience for both seasoned and newbie gamers. Despite some minor shortcomings, Layers of Fear brings some classic elements while adding new depth, creating a unique and fear filled journey that you won't be able to tear yourself away from.

While the West may have been skipped over for much of the last decade with Digimon games, fans can rejoice over Bandai Namco's choice to localize Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, as they will find plenty of reasons to love this game with its nearly 250 different Digimon available.

Project X Zone 2 may not be for everyone, but fans of SRPGs and characters from Capcom, Sega or Bandai Namco are going to have a blast with this game.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia tries its best to be cool and innovative, but in doing so the end result is a repetitive game that overly relies on stealth and a lackluster combat system.

It feels like the game equivalent to your favorite art house movie, where it speaks a message that is both universal, and yet completely personal to you. Even beyond the artistic, the game functions well on a technical level, delivering both great graphics and fantastic music, while also hitting on some great gameplay. Trial and error deaths get in the way, and some puzzles might frustrate, but overall Unravel is a triumphant experience from start to finish.

Fortified is a fun multiplayer romp full of 50s sci-fi camp. Bring some friends as this tower defense shooter can be difficult to tackle solo.

Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 rounds out the story for fans in one of the best looking and best playing entries in the series.

As newcomers to the pixelated shooter genre, Roll7 has succeeded in producing a fun, challenging, and gory experience with Not a Hero.

Final Fantasy Explorers may not be the best spin-off that the series has received, but with the level of fan service and solid gameplay, it still might be worth a look for those who are fans of both Monster Hunter and Final Fantasy.
