The visuals are just too dated and will be tough for some to swallow and the unintuitive controls can be a real pain.- Armchair Empire

Great quests, solid story, very good voice acting, challenging battles, and engaging dialogue and characters make this an RPG that stands head and shoulders above the competition.- Armchair Empire

There was enough original action and story line to keep me playing right to the end and wanting more missions.- Armchair Empire

The game is too darn short. Four or five additional levels would have helped to remedy this, but this isn’t enough to irreparably damage the game. It’s still a damn good title well worth taking for a spin.- Armchair Empire

I didn’t like this game because my threshold for frustration is not what is used to be. The camera problems are just too much.- Armchair Empire

If you’re looking for a quick dungeon crawling, hack-and-slash trek through the frozen north with a peppy little story and some great combat then this is definitely a title to get.- Armchair Empire

It’s a fairly simple concept but its complexity and the way it draws you in is amazing. And the replay value is through the roof!- Armchair Empire

Batten down the hatches, let the answering machine do its thing, and keep some snack food on standby, because Planescape Torment is one of those RPGs with such a deep, rich story that it demands every ounce of the players attention.- Armchair Empire

Those that hate obtuse puzzles will want to steer clear. The real attraction to GKIII is the information about Rennnes-le-Chateau and surrounding environs. It’s the next best thing to actually traveling to the south of France, and a lot cheaper.- Armchair Empire

With an absolutely stellar story, and characters that are more lively and fleshed out than those found in other series this game provides the integral components to make for an RPG that will rule the players life until they’ve finished the game.- Armchair Empire

Between the story, the beautiful graphics, music score, and the insanely enthralling card game mini-game, Final Fantasy VIII does the series proud.- Armchair Empire

The one major nuisance in the game is that very few of the cars in the pack provide much of a challenge. Only the cars in second and first place put up much of a fight, while the rest behave like placeholders.- Armchair Empire

Adding to the story is some of the best voice acting to ever come to a videogame. The entire cast did an absolutely top-notch performance.- Armchair Empire

While the game isn't terrible, it is a bit of a let down. With all of the sci-fi qualities that could have been implemented, it is a shade disappointing to see that the story didn't go as far as it could have.- Armchair Empire

FT is also a perfect example of how music can make half the experience. The Gone Jackals, a biker band, provided much of the music and it’s situated so perfectly that it’s almost as if it was written especially for FT. Add to that a very good cast of voice actors, some very funny lines, and you’ve got a nearly flawless game.- Armchair Empire

At ten bucks, it is worth buying for any PSX or PS2 owner that can overlook the weak graphics and appreciate the game’s sense of humor and tight, straight-forward game play.- Armchair Empire
