To spend money on a free mod for a few extra maps just seems like madness to me.

It's a solid first-person shooter with some hours of shooting fun with at least one odd design decision.

Great fighting engine, good graphics, great “hey, I’m Spider-man!” feel, great level design, well-detailed city, and a really bad camera.

I understand that designing a game that accurately portrays Spidey's gracefulness is a difficult task, but in previous games the right “feel” wasn't represented. This is the area where Spider-Man: The Movie makes the biggest jump.

Unfortunately for all of NOLF’s good points, the controls just make the game too frustrating to be worth investing any time in the title.

The game kicks butt too except for one big problem: the camera.

While the game looks good and controls easily enough in most instances, the weak AI robs Spider-Man: The Movie of much of its fun factor, being too easy for many GBA players.

The single-player game is so easy as to be boredom inducing. As a multiplayer game, it shines but is marred by a limited number of boards.

It doesn’t have the playability to make it essential in today’s gaming market. With so many titles competing for the time and money of gamers, it is simply not up to par.

A really interesting game that some people will think is great, while others will harp on the shortcomings. Personally, I really enjoyed the title and will keep the game in my rotation until I defeat all of those missions completely with all bonuses.

The game’s greatest asset and what saves it from mediocrity is its unbelievably tough artificial intelligence. Your chess know-how will be tested severely and if you give VK some thorough playing sessions, you actually will improve your chess smarts.

An improvement over its predecessor and is maybe even more fun.

Raven has done a fantastic job bringing Star Wars to life, especially with the small touches like the familiar war room from A New Hope.

The biggest thing I felt was missing was the all-important fun factor.

EA redeems itself and the James Bond video-game line nicely with 007: Agent Under Fire, a good FPS game, notably in the extraordinary multi-player mode, that finally makes up for the mediocre-at-best duo of "007 Racing" and "TWINE."

One facet worth mentioning is that although I was using the same exact machine as I had for the previous Sims games, I actually had a crisper performance on my system compared to when "Hot Date" had last been played.

An excellent game, one that has restored my enthusiasm for the comic characters of old and their exciting, ideologically simple-minded pursuit of life, liberty and happiness.

It’s got a sense of fun, a main character that can be outfitted in a bikini, lots of swordplay, a chance to bend the laws of Nature in really big ships, and playability that’s easy to pick-up.

Unfortunately sometimes when an older game duplicates its own spin-offs the final product is a blatant but poor copy of the worst and the best of the offspring. Such is the case with Blood Omen 2.

It’s got a great story and a well-defined protagonist, the graphics and sound provide a suitable sense of place, but the problem with the “lock” during combat and the funnel quality will more than likely turn some people off.

Its [slow] pace will kill the game for some, but others not so experienced in the RTS genre will appreciate the accessibility the speed affords.

While it is a tad disappointing that the game doesn’t have its conductor’s staff, the overall selection of music encountered and execution makes for a refreshing departure from the status quo in the genre.

It's so good that on a gorgeous, sunny 80-degree afternoon I found myself hitting the virtual links instead of the real thing – and I love real golf.

This game has proven to me to be more addictive than cigarettes after all night romps in the hay with my special friend...the most fun I’ve had in playing an RTS since "Dungeon Keeper 2" and "Warcraft 2."
