The production values are perfectly tuned to the game's style as the graphics and audio are beautifully implemented. Quite simply, I loved the game.- Armchair Empire

The single player mode is quite bland and lacks a much needed punch, while the multiplayer provides some excitement.- Armchair Empire

It's not really a better game than the original, as the controls are still a little bit wonky, but it is more creative, and you have to give props to the developers for giving us some humorous reasons to play the same (excellent) game again.- Armchair Empire

Gretzky NHL 06 showed some serious improvement graphically over last year’s version but otherwise all the same flaws remain untouched.- Armchair Empire

Xbox Live gamers will enjoy the online play (if they select a character that can fire weapons- or powers-based projectiles) and it's nice to have a brawler/fighter that showcases the Marvel universe so well, but an imperfect storyline that just doesn't draw gamers into the Marvel Nemesis realm very far and a weak A.I. challenge in the single-player story mode hold the game back from reaching the heights of previous Marvel-based games.- Armchair Empire

But the same advice I offered for "Crusaders still applies: it's "a rewarding experience if you're willing to put in the time." It also doesn't hurt if you can withstand a moderate amount of frustration.- Armchair Empire

Prepare to be challenged like you've never been challenged before to complete an action-adventure game. If you make it through Ninja Gaiden Black, be proud, because it definitely is one of the hardest games to complete that you'll ever play.- Armchair Empire

It won't appeal as much to fans of the Mario Golf/Outlaw Golf/Hot Shots arcade-style golf game, but if you're looking to play "real" golf on a console, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 clubs the competition off the tee.- Armchair Empire

A solid game that gets bogged down far too often to be considered great.- Armchair Empire

The control aspect takes a bit of practice and some of the longer, tougher missions take a bit of patience to replay a few times to find the best points of tactical advantage, but Battalion Wars succeeds on being both an action game and a game of strategic pondering.- Armchair Empire

NHL gamers will cheer loud for NHL 06, which again proves to be the most playable and engrossing NHL game around, with a very good control scheme and better A.I. than ever along with online play that brings a new level of competitive gameplay to the forefront.- Armchair Empire

Taken altogether, it isn't hard to recommend Pump it Up Exceed to a number of groups: those that love DDR and have played through all of those games, those that are looking for a DDR-like game with a well-made dance pad, and those who are looking for a game to use as a weight-loss tool.- Armchair Empire

It has its shortcomings, like the enemy "swarming" and a camera that sometimes gets blocked by buildings, but there's too much to like about Ultimate Destruction – the feeling of being the Hulk, a great comic book storyline, lots of stuff to do, a deep combo system – to dwell too much on the downsides.- Armchair Empire
