Starblast is a simple yet solid game. The game has some flaws that should be polished in the future, but the fans of the genre are going to enjoy this new game by Neuronality.

Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is a missed opportunity to make the series a recognized IP. Lots of bugs, mechanics copied from New Horizons poorly implemented, and a boring progression system. The video game is saved by its graphics and its relationship system.

Friday the 13th: The Game has a very interesting formula, but it needs to be polished in order to be completely enjoyable. It features the essence of the movies, but it has some gameplay issues that need to be addressed soon.

Funko Fusion is like that limited edition Funko Pop figure you buy with all your hopes up: full of potential, but not without its flaws. It has all the ingredients to be a feast for fans: Beloved franchises, iconic characters, a fun premise, gameplay reminiscent of the best moments from LEGO games.

Bleep Bloop is a simple game for puzzle lovers that really shines when played through the local multiplayer option. Nevertheless, the game is far from challenging, and it really would have benefited from trying to mix up some of its mechanics.

God of War: Sons of Sparta is decent, entertaining, and enjoyable at times, but we should expect (and demand) much more from this franchise. We're not here for Kratos to star in a passable Metroidvania; we're here for his brutality and quality to shine, to take a step forward in a genre that, unfortunately, has countless other games that are far superior to this one.

Telltale comes back again with their same formula for Batman: The Telltale Series. This first episode is pretty dull, but ends with a promising ending that opens the door for innovation.

XIII returns with an opportunity to redeem himself but with performance improvements to be made. If those fringes are finally solved, he will once again enjoy a luxurious opportunity to convince the players who did not do it before and hold more to a thread of hope for the second half.

Digimon World: Next Order offers a great amount of hours of entertainment, especially if for the fans of the franchise. A better combat system than previous intallments, but a very weak plot.

Rise & Shine tries to constantly use nods to other games, which is really repetitive sometimes. Good ideas on many occasions, but poorly performed in multiple times during its short duration.

Sea of Thieves has fresh and great ideas that work well. However, due to very repetitive missions, a lack of content and a poor end-game, this game turns into a tedious one after only a few hours.

Layopi Studios points with great ambition to the production of a game that belongs to that forgotten space between indie and Triple-A productions. Devil’s Hunt manages to be a fun and entertaining action game. However, the final result does not convince at all, and fails to compete as a solid and differentiated proposal from other existing titles in the market.

Effie is worth more for its artistic value than its ‘product’ value because, even if it feels like a true adventure with good puzzles, platforms and aesthetics, it doesn’t have the same quality in terms of gameplay and content, reducing its proposal to a bad game, but a good experience.

WRC 7 offers hours of entertainment and features all the official licenses of the championship. However, the game fails where its previous installments also did, like the feeling of an artificial driving and other issues. WRC still has some major aspects to improve.

South Park: Snow Day! seemed to me like a rather vague attempt to capitalize on the franchise that gave us such good results with previous titles. A game that falls short in many aspects and where the low budget is noticeable. It's fun when you play it with friends, but it's not a game that will go down in history. Considering the franchise it is, something much more ambitious could have been done.

State of mind is a science fiction adventure based upon the idea of transhumanism that forces us to reflect on it, also due to its narrative-oriented content. With this game Daedalic aimed for first contact with a new gameplay but without casting away the thing that they love the most, which is telling stories.

Star Ocean returns with its fifth installment, but after 20 years its evolution has not been quite good. The AI is terrible, the mechanics are really repetitive and the story is pretty dull. Only players who enjoy the classic JRPG games will have fun with this one.

Rebirth is a new face to the saga and, thanks in no small part to its magnificent script, it is actually the best game of the franchise. However, it takes a considerable step back as a survival horror. The enemies lack any sense of real terror and the overall difficulty of the game is quite low. Basically, Rebirth is a great adventure game, but it also is extremely disappointing as a horror game.
