Donut County is a fun, fresh and original experience that knows how to take advantage of a very simple and limited set of mechanics. Sure it has some flaws, but, like a real donut, I don´t care as long as the result is delicious. And it truly is.

Scribblenauts Mega Pack is a great game and, above all, a dense conjunction of two excellent games. Even if we cannot recommend it to every gamer because of its inherent singularity, we do recommend it for those who like adventures that feel fresh and innovative.

The Technomancer is a complicated old-school game, but its content is very rich and it features a complete combat system and a well-developed atmosphere throughout the story.

Rocket League on Nintendo Switch is an amazing experience and we can carry our game wherever we want. Even though its graphics could be better when in portable mode, this game means hours and hours of entertainment.

Darksiders Warmastered Edition is a great game with elements of exploration and puzzles. His artistic design is based on Christian mythology and is really amazing, with good characters and a complete story. Some elements look old but it’s still a very funny hack and slash. It does not have many new features for veteran players, but if you are new to the franchise it is the best way to enter it.

The premise of Pacific Drive is unique and original in many ways, although in others it can become a bit tedious and tiresome. It is a game in which we must be patient and not go crazy, because it is better to go little by little to avoid falling into despair. Being a first-person survival rogue-lite, it has its own touch and nothing will be the same in each exploration, but for my taste a third-person option would have been good.

Doom Eternal: DOOM is back to bring us another entry with wonderful and vertical combat with plenty of gore and heavy metal rhythm. The impressive shooter returns and DOOM Eternal adds more content, and more platforms that make us miss the simplicity of this franchise.

I can't help but applaud Sand Door Studio for their boldness, their staging, and their originality in giving a twist to the hack & slash genre. Lysfanga is a title that hooks, entertains, and above all, surprises. It probably won't go down in history as the game of the year, but it's undoubtedly a title that will enamor fans of the genre. Furthermore, the starting price of €24.99 helps a lot, and if you want to find out if this game is for you or not, there's a nice demo on Steam to try it out hassle-free.

This fighting game is perfect for those that have not tried the original Wii U version. It is still one of the best options in the genre for those who own the Nintendo console.

Yesterday Origins is a remarkable graphic adventure that, however, does not manage to shine on Nintendo Switch due several technical issues. It remains the memorable piece of art it once was, with a wonderful story to follow, but there are some serious drops in framerate that need to be worked on.

Eden Genesis is positioned as another great game from the Spanish studio, with an impressive setting, spectacular soundtrack, challenging and sometimes reminiscent of its previous games. However, I think that if the studio did something "more different" it would be able to surprise us just like they did with Eden Genesis.

The legend of heroes: trails of cold steel is a Japanese role video-game with a really complete story, a deep combat system and an everlasting soundtrack. It’s a perfect opportunity to get into the Nioh Falcom universe but if it’s your first time it can be confusing because of its difficult items. This is the best version to enjoy this experience in 60 fps with 4K resolution and all the additional DLC lately released like the Japanese dubbing.

Age of Empires II is a game that forever remains as part of your own existence. It does not matter how much time goes on, in the end you ALWAYS remember having played AOE; it is a timeless classic. You REALLY want to play this new version of the game, whether it is because you want to explore one of the greatest video games ever for the very first time, or because you are an 'old school' player that wants to re-live a glorious age that will no longer come back.

Showing itself as a game that is extremely faithful to the original one and greatly respects the starting point of the franchise, MediEvil Remake is shown as the perfect opportunity to relive the adventure of Sir Daniel Fortesque with nostalgia. Despite that some of its playable aspects may be below current standards, Other Ocean has managed to revive the Gallowmere's Kingdom paying attention to what made the title great in the past.

The addition of a series in which we are told some parts of the story is a risky experiment but in this case it has proven to be a success. With Quantum Break we face a game with an impressive narrative and loads of action for fans of the genre, but it also has some weak aspects such as the duration of the game and false decision-making.

Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is a good third-person shooter and a great Plants vs. Zombies title. The series continues to trust in its own style but seems too comfortable and conservative with this game which, on the other hand, comes with a lot of content for players to enjoy for hours.

Cadence of Hyrule is an ingenious crossover that shows that the saga of The Legend of Zelda still has a lot to say. Its musical mechanics inherited from Crypt of the Necrodancer and the wonderful folklore of the Nintendo franchise combine perfectly to create an unrepeatable experience.

Tormented Souls II is the sequel the first installment deserved. Dual Effect listened to critics, polished what was wrong, and amplified what worked. The result is a survival horror game that respects the classic '90s titles without feeling anachronistic, offers a real challenge without constantly frustrating (well, almost), and looks spectacular on PC.
