Ark of Sinners Advance feels far too loose to pull off its action-platforming, which is a shame because the world you travel in is a delight to explore.

A unique concept and clever visual designs aren't enough to stretch Jake Escape HD's gameplay beyond its limited borders, making a fun, but short title lacking depth.

In Fear I Trust successfully infuses a sense of dread into is abandoned rooms and grimy corridors. However, it undermines its own atmospheric efforts with awkward controls and unintuitive puzzles.

chronoSgear is a unique experience that packs a fun and challenging combat system, but it's held back by time-sinks that lack any significant purpose.

Sorted! nails its presentation and micro-game concept perfectly, but without more agency and depth it's easy to grow bored of what's on offer.

Mega Jump 2 tries to build on the existing formula by adding new mechanics and free-to-play hooks. Unfortunately, all this serves to do is water down the core gameplay to something bland and, ultimately, forgettable.

LUME is a unique puzzle experience that should delight adventure and puzzle fans. It's unique style and puzzle variety is only detracted by its constant crashing and relatively short game length.

Ace Combat Xi: Skies of Incursion is a worthy addition to the series for Namco, but too short to enjoy completely.

While repetitive, Zombie Panic in Wonderland Plus is none-the-less a beautifully presented and fun action-packed shooter that harkens back to a classic era of Arcade shooters (albeit with a very modern Japanese spin) - however, much like these classics you'll have to pump in many a shiney quarter to scratch beyond the surface of the game's content.

Umai! is minimal puzzler with a particular charm that, like sushi, will likely attract some people for the same reasons that it repulses others.

There are far worse physics puzzle games out there, and even some of the better ones don't feature such a unique central mechanic. Puddle Puzzles is worth a look just for that alone.

With the lack of decent 3D platformers on the iphone, it's good to see Rayman being ported over. If only the controls were better.

It's addictive and has enough variety in the way the levels work to be highly replayable. It would be interesting to see if the developers could design a multiplayer component aside from leaderboards, but that would simply be a nice addition to already very solid game.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies almost succeeds in transplanting the console version of the game to the iOS platform, but balance issues, network problems, and a serious lack of variety make it hard to swallow the price of entry.
