Spy vs Spy is a tidy package of nostalgia that will help you to relive the classic moments of your gaming past - and you'll need these memories to soften the blow of the otherwise limited gameplay.

Xtreme Wheels takes a formula that has already proven itself in the past and does little more than repackage it, albeit in a shiny 3D engine; if you enjoy games like Trials HD there's little reason to complain, but it'd be nice to see more innovation.

There's almost no doubting the quality that's on display for RAGE and RAGE HD, but repeat runs for high-scores can become dull very quickly.

Blood Roofs tries to push the endless runner in to a grander-scale, packing in huge locations and huge monsters, but it's all torn apart by the poor platforming controls that are pivotal to the success of such a title.

Futuridium EP is an interesting space shooter with many rough edges. There's depth here, but only the most dedicated players are going to wrestle with the game long enough to discover it.

Meant for younger gamers, this puzzle platformer will delight with its lovable farmyard characters.

While not too removed from the first game, Zombie Wonderland 2 gives you more frantic action in a zombie defense shell. For fans of the first game, tower defense-esque titles... and zombies.

Clumsy Bob is a decent endless title, but with little else to do it's counting on you not already being burnt out by the consistent stream of other horizontal runners.

Dead Effect is an adequate sci-fi zombie shooter with some control and design issues.

Sure it's zombies, but you'll forgive me for letting that point slide when the gameplay has such an incredible zen-like approach - swing away at the undead, or let them dance the night away; either way you get the last laugh.

If you never experienced the fun of playing OutRun on an upright cabinet then you'll be missing out on some of what makes 'Truckers Delight: Episode 1' so fantastic, but the endless high-score experience still ranks as one of the most amusing even if it's not the best available.

Fans of the Predators mythos might be a bit put off by some of the gameplay, but for most action fans PREDATORS is an intense and absorbing title well worth picking up.

Commando Jack is a solid entry into the Tower Defense genre, but aside from good presentation and the addition of jumping behind a turret yourself, it's a pretty stock standard experience.

Batman Arkham City Lockdown is short, but fun, challenging and frantic on its first completion; unfortunately subsequent clears provide little motivation for doing so and ultimately it feels like too little, too late for iOS gamers interested in the Arkham franchise.

For those without easy access to a 3DS copy of Theatrhythm, the iOS version makes for a decent, if less featured replacement; in the least you can 'pay what you like' by sticking to songs you enjoy, so it's a treat for anyone who has enjoyed one or more Final Fantasy titles.

Sonic Dash doesn't seek to innovate in the auto-runner genre, and for that alone it's disappointing, but if you scratch beneath the surface you'll find a game willing to throw a significant challenge your way.

    DEO
DEO is a beautiful and elegantly simple platformer for those who revel in stripped-down skill-based challenges, but lacking in substance for those after more than a pretty way to jump around asteroids.

There are times when the freemium model makes sense, but with Let's Golf 3 it feels more like a cheap grab for the wallet as it hands out a stripped down title for a sport that requires lengthy multiple rounds to complete, eating up your 'energy' faster than you can earn it.
