While we really wanted to enjoy this offering as much as the plethora of quality shooters that Gameloft has released over the past couple of years, the horrendous AI, odd storyline, and surprisingly spotty controls drain most of the fun and excitement out of it.

A departure from their usual hidden object adventures, Jumpster's misnomer (Flingster might have been more appropriate) isn't nearly as egregious a misstep as its overly aggressive IAP system.

While not all sports seem that conducive to this control style, gamers may find some of these offerings to be a fun timewaster.

Touch Racing Nitro has wonderful potential that we feel can be reached with a few app updates. It's a little steep at $3.99, and we recommend waiting for an update.

Featuring a variety of helmeted vermin who interact differently with their environments, Hamster Cannon is mildly entertaining but it ultimately fails to stand out.

Despite its solid premise and creepy atmosphere, End Night HD is ultimately done in by wonky controls, overly aggressive zombies, and a general lack of bone-chilling excitement.

It simply wasn't as enjoyable as we'd hoped it would be. The lack of social gaming network integration also limits its replay value.

Featuring interactive puzzles, a multitude of moves and moveable objects, and levels numbering in the triple digits, Peakour is a clever challenge for gamers of all ages.

The controls were responsive, just not sensitive enough.

The controls are swipe-based, showing responsiveness and easy use. Unfortunately, the angle of the drawn platform doesn't seem to have much impact on the direction that Cosmo bounces, as it does in other similar titles.

A free-to-play offering, Noble Nutlings is a fun diversion, though its reliance on purchasable boost juice drops it to a 3-Dimple score.

A port of a popular online offering, Combat Arms on iOS fails to live up to our expectations. Is anyone else as frustrated with trailers that appear to show one gaming style while providing a completely different type of game?

Featuring terrific visuals, a fully-stocked armory, and multiple game modes, Journey to Hell sadly comes unraveled by its dull and drudging gameplay.

Replay value suffers greatly due to the short game length and lack of online play, leaderboards, achievements, and the other various amenities that typically accompany this type of game.

Despite intriguing new elements like free-roam, skill trees, and co-op multiplayer, there are a number of annoyances in this sequel that make us long for the simplicity of the original.

Despite a recent update that fixed that control issues that plagued its initial launch, The Relic remains a sub-par title that lacks both realistic animations and a sense of enjoyment that would compel us to keep playing.

With all of the polished and engaging games available from the app store, we're bound to come across a few clunkers now and then that just don't live up to their descriptions and hype. Legendary Outlaw is one such title.
