An excellent value for RPG fans or gamers who are feeling nostalgic. Not everyone will fall in love with the 8-bit artwork and audio, but the concept is a good enough reason to download this application .- AppSafari

A great game on so many different levels, and is another fantastic title to show off the visuals possible on iOS, especially on the A5 processor.- AppSafari

The graphics, as a whole, have a really specific charm to them. They aren't anything over the top or too special, but they're still cute and keep you tuned in. Perhaps it's my own crude sense of humor, but I find it hilarious every time the guy hits the bottom of the screen and just falls apart, no blood involved.- AppSafari

Overall, Gunstar Heroes was a pretty good experience for me. It does a fairly good job of keeping itself fresh without losing its authenticity. While there are definite places in which it can improve, I think it's a great time-passer and is a good addition to anyone's app collection.- AppSafari

The gameplay is real-time with no annoying loading delays. The controls take a few minutes to master, as you must use arrow keys and jump and shoot buttons.- AppSafari

Bring Me Sandwiches! is a fun purchase and one I would recommend to anyone who likes side-scrollers. The levels are fast, at about two to three minutes a piece, and can be played over and over again.- AppSafari

A fairly enjoyable app with a few noteworthy setbacks. Those who are seeking a very long adventure or those who become frustrated very easily with poor controls may wish to avoid the app, as it is significantly lacking in these aspects. For those who are looking for an advanced RPG game and can overlook these setbacks, however, look no further than Fara.- AppSafari

For only $0.99 Hook Champ is a great value. Counterintuitivly, I found the retro-style graphics to be a breath of fresh air- AppSafari

The game runs pretty smooth with few hiccups. Mage Gauntlet's iPhone is likely to perform better on the iPhone 4S with its faster processor than on the iPod touch.- AppSafari

I thoroughly enjoyed Knight Defense because of its spectacular handling of this genre fusion and its clever chess piece powers. The game could make use of some different terrain rather than just a simple chess board, but this is Chess… hard to complain about accurate re-imaginings.- AppSafari

Eternal Legacy reaches for the stars and, while coming close, is hampered by the difficulty, sound and script. If Gameloft can improve upon these factors for a sequel on the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch , they will have a definite hit on their hands.- AppSafari

Pixel Ranger tries to offer a twist on a standard shooter, but while it does work, the chaotic controls greatly hinder it. Though it only has a few problems, these problems prevent it from being a classic.- AppSafari

In story mode, it borrowed heavily from Modern Warfare. Here, it borrows heavily from Call of Duty 2: Modern Warfare. It even has the perk system, where you accrue points that unlock new weapons and a host of other power-ups.- AppSafari

Overall, Stupidness 3 is definitely not for everyone. For the standard gamer, the challenges will simply be too frustrating to provide any value. For those who truly enjoy being forced to think outside the box in order to solve challenging brain teasers, however, look no further than Stupidness 3.- AppSafari

The controls work well, probably because the previous releases were also touch-screen based, so the developer has the experience, and didn't need to completely change the control scheme.- AppSafari

If it weren't so buggy, we'd have given it a much higher score, and it would be at the top of our list of favorite games. In the meantime, FD will sometimes simply refuse to start, and will often crash to the home screen for no apparent reason.- AppSafari
