Random Heroes 2 ($0.99, Universal) delivers a whole lot of sameness, and will definitely test your patience in doing the same thing over, and over. It’s not a sequel, but an extension of a previous poor outing making it one to steer clear of. Ravenous Games’ cookie cutter must be melting from over use.

Iron Man 3 – The Official Game (Free, Universal) delivers a great feel for playing as Iron Man, but that wears off after a few redundant flights. The base gameplay just doesn’t do enough to make you care to keep going to reach the minimal story elements, and new environments.

Paper Fox (Free, Universal) shines on iOS, and makes the devices equally sparkle. It’s such a great journey for Paper Fox to join along with and learn the moral of the story while appreciating each, and every amazingly crafted scene. Paper Fox includes a one-time $2.99 in-app purchase to unlock the full story after the first two chapters, and it’s well worth that price for the enjoyment it will deliver.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rooftop Run ($1.99, Universal) is neither good nor bad, and just another endless runner that doesn’t even take the ninja turtles theme to heart. GolfStar (Free, Universal) provides a deluxe 3D golf simulation engine, but comes up short everywhere else. It’s such a super simple repetitive grind, and that doesn’t even take into account the timers, play restrictions, and locked features behind pay walls.
