The game is fairly pricey, but worth it if you are a diehard fan of strategy games.

You won't be able to progress through this game without purchasing coins unless you want to spend a lot of time waiting. Combined with the advertisements on the bottom of the screen, I found Coin Army to be more irritating than fun. It also sent unrequested notifications, which I find intolerable.

The visuals are okay, and the sound is great. The on-rails experience means you aren't going to get lost or confused, and always know where to go or what to do next. I like the mini-games for casting spells, making potions, and dueling since they have intuitive controls. Tough choices are going to be made, and I like that it affects the dynamic storyline. I just wish that the timers and energy system weren't the way they are, and that customization options were a bit cheaper.

Level creation in Amazing Shape Shifters is a great tool, and it means there's near endless gameplay. That's a pretty good deal for just $1.99, though I will say that I'm disappointed the game wasn't made universal.

Don't get me wrong, it is fun to manipulate the puzzles and solve them, but I would recommend a lite version of the game over the paid one (if a lite version existed).

With its gorgeous art style, simple controls, and large store, Probe the Humans will eat your time up.

This is a cool physics based game for young or old players. The lack of enemies makes it more of a skill-based game rather than a try-to-survive game.

This is a fun game definitely intended for a younger audience. The monsters look like monsters without being too scary. With the different modes available, adults can join the matching fun as well.

This game is entertaining and challenging. I might even say it is a bit too challenging.

If you are tired of killing skeletons, build a tower. If you have to wait 20 minutes for your building to be complete, defend your castle for a while.

Put simply, it is a breath of fresh air from the endless piles of junk that line the App Store these days.

A decent casual title, but it's no Fruit Ninja. At this point in time, Thirsty Fish is overly simplistic and overpriced at $1.99. While I'd recommend it to those of you who love casual titles, I'd also recommend waiting for a sale.

This is an awesome game that's sure to appeal to zombie fans, especially those who enjoyed the developer's other title, Stenches: A Zombie Tale of Trenches.

Sketchman isn't the best endless runner that I've played, but it is decent. It's an iPhone only game – if you want to play on your iPad, you'll need to by the HD version, which is really the major negative to this game.

War of Words Apocalypse is free to play, but it is ad supported with incredibly intrusive ads. Full screen ads are shown after almost every turn, and it takes several seconds before you can tap the tiny check box to close the ad. Tapping in the wrong spot will open the ad, and it's very easy to tap on accident.

This game is simply fantastic. There are 200 puzzles, many with multiple solutions. There are even more ways to play by checking out the Community section and playing a user-created tangram. Fans of the classic dissection puzzle game will really enjoy this app.

The missions can get a bit repetitive, but the incentive of earning coins to upgrade your platoon, recruit new soldiers, and buy new weapons should keep you coming back for more.

Angry Fly Adventure HD is only $1.99, and for that amount it is definitely worth a try. The controls may be hard to master, but the graphics and attention to detail are amazing, making it worth every penny.

This is a game that's perfect for people who have enjoyed other ragdoll style games like Kick the Buddy and Ragdoll Blaster. It's simple, challenging, and priced right at $0.99. If you're looking for a pick up and play type of game, Hanger is a solid choice.

The simplicity and serenity the game brings is reminiscent of Mazes. This game is enough to challenge you without being frustrating. That's a win-win in my book any day.
