I noticed that Bioware substantially improved (optimized) the Infinity engine. At one point, I found my company fighting with about forty Drow slaves without slowing the game or frame-rate down.- ActionTrip

Very playable and is sure to get your attention. However, the relatively small number of mission, and the occasionally dull atmosphere may cause that attention to become short-lived…- ActionTrip

Nothing more than a total cock-up, an uninventive and technically poor copy of several games, primarily Counter-Strike, which was meant to achieve a lot and actually achieved nothing.- ActionTrip

And I thought that only Eidos was impertinent enough to keep selling the same game with a slightly different name…- ActionTrip

The control mechanism and its efficient usage present the thin line between victory and failure. In this respect, Z: Steel Soldiers is both very well conceived, and extremely demanding in hardware.- ActionTrip

If you want an action strategy with unique moments, and you don't mind stupid camera placement, and you're not too much into online fighting, and live in Europe, Hostile Waters is a decent choice.- ActionTrip

An extremely fun game setting new standards in 3D technology and good Westwood-like gameplay.- ActionTrip

The puzzles are your standard - "push-lever-break-thing-press-button" type of brain crackers, which will be about as challenging to a HL veteran as… well okay, some of them are somewhat inventive, but on aggregate they'd only be interesting to the DC crowd I guess.- ActionTrip

A highly addictive game with good design and interesting gameplay. The unusual concept and the unraveling plot will keep you glued to the screen. The game is well balanced and keeps getting more complex as you progress deeper into the underground.- ActionTrip

Even though I cannot say it hadn't been fun plying Leadfoot, Ratbag games could really have introduced something new in its gaming cliché.- ActionTrip

It looks as though the programmers just rushed to wrap the game up, eliminating any possibility to get a good background story, and incorporating only the basic Multiplayer options (LAN or Internet, but you'll have to set the IP addresses manually).- ActionTrip

In spite of its technical and audio-visual flaws, RoboForge is a true hit. Thinking up and tweaking your robots offers a lot of challenge, replay value, and entertainment.- ActionTrip

The in-game graphics are beautiful. The only thing that bugged me was the fact that I couldn't make it work in anything higher than 640x480 (the previews mentioned it would support anything up to 1600x1200).- ActionTrip

If you thought that Offroad Redneck Racing would give you a lot of a lot of new jokes and good humor, you were much mistaken… on the other hand, you sure got a fine racing game which may hold you for a while.- ActionTrip

What it lacks in variety, it tries to make up in quantity. Speaking of quantity, I've already mentioned that you'll meet gazillions of enemies along the way.- ActionTrip

After playing Evil Islands and getting a bitch of a migraine because I stayed up in front of the PC for 48 long hours, I can safely conclude that Nival Interactive has developed one seriously addictive PC game. It can even be hazardous to your health, and it might have serious effects on your social life.- ActionTrip

Capcom obviously strove to create a game that would preserve the spirit and outlooks of its prequels (read - it's another damn PSX1 port). It seems that they pushed this tendency one step too far, and forgot to actually deliver anything new to the gaming scene.- ActionTrip

Some will like the increased complexity and find all they need in this game, while others might get lost in the multitude of stats, units and options and simply give the whole thing a miss.- ActionTrip

Although the game is fun while it lasts (with plenty of stuff to build and plenty of macro-areas to manage), the pre-defined scenarios do not offer any qualitative innovations. They're just harder, and with different starting configuration.- ActionTrip

Many of "Evil Dead" worshipers will want to try this game; I wouldn't recommend it however, simply because it might make you hate the Evil Dead trilogy for the rest of your life.- ActionTrip

There is one thing, typical for most parties, missing - there is no spirits. I never saw any of the Sims getting drunk and imbarising themselves however hard I tried to make them do so.- ActionTrip

The musical score is monumental in a sense and it reminds me of that theme song in "Gladiator" - the one which plays during that scene when Maximus is walking through a crop field near his home.- ActionTrip

Poor graphics and sound have their good side as well - the game will run smoothly on older machines, regardless of the number of units appearing on screen, and loading and saving games is as fast as it can get.- ActionTrip

The game is in fact in real time, but as you have absolute control of game speed, you can slow it down sufficiently for it to be considered to be turn-based. Hence, this game presents the ideal combination for fans of both types of strategies.- ActionTrip
