The rather clunky and standoffish interface, combined with the fact that gamers will be required to actually learn things before they are comfortable with the game might put off a fair amount of people who were initially excited about the game.- ActionTrip

A decent story; well-told and fitted excellently into a video game; beautiful artwork and level design are all essential parts of a good game, and TRON 2.0 has them all.- ActionTrip

For a game that looks like it's striving to be Wing Commander under the sea, the designers still have a lot to learn about creating a game with decent cinematic appeal or good story presentation. I don't mind linear single-player gameplay, just as long as the events in between missions are not presented in such a basic and dated form.- ActionTrip

It's gonna take you a while to get a grip on the controls, since there are many keys that need to be memorized in order to pull off different moves. As such, I think that many gamers might not be satisfied with the keyboard option.- ActionTrip

It could've been way better, bearing in mind that the developers took the time to create a good story and brilliant setting for an RPG title (on top of using the Fallout SPECIAL system). Regrettably, the game suffers from several balancing issues.- ActionTrip

The amount of additional features, characters, and units, is so impressive we don't have the space to get into the details. Suffice it to say, Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic displays a commendable variety of content that brought the franchise to new heights and effectively improved upon the excellent gameplay of the previous title.- ActionTrip

Sadly, it's patently obvious that the programmers focused heavily on the stealth elements, leaving the other aspects like combat, weapon balance, and AI inadequately unattended.- ActionTrip

At last, a true RPG found a home in the rich Star Wars universe. Its amazing depth makes today's Star Wars movies look like a sitcom.- ActionTrip

The perfect example of what an expansion should be - it takes the original game to new heights, and lets us all find the joy of playing WarCraft all over again.- ActionTrip

The gameplay mechanics of melee combat, sailing and naval battles have been greatly improved, making the action portion of the game much more strategic, and ultimately more appealing.- ActionTrip

The right choice for anyone who's out for an action-packed arcade racer with smooth gameplay and miscellaneous tasks and challenges to complete on the road. The accent in this game is on addictive, high-paced arcade-style driving.- ActionTrip

The controls handle like utter crap and will remain a continuous nuisance throughout the entire game. Seriously, when it comes to character control I've never witnessed such a badly managed a port.- ActionTrip

Make no mistake though, Servants of the Dark is fun; it's just that the whole experience is a bit short when compared to the lengthy and extensive original.- ActionTrip

Even though some weird level design decision and venerable AI code may present a fairly serious drawback, the aforementioned qualities of EF2 outweigh the bads. Shooter fans that appreciate the Star Trek universe should go out and buy this game.- ActionTrip

Possesses the same degree of replay value as the original game. Once gamers have gone through the entire new campaign, they can find a lot of new and interesting things to experiment with the next time around - a characteristic that should define any decent RPG.- ActionTrip

Will Rock can be fun and at times, but the designers screwed up the gameplay pace with the poor layout of the levels and their lackluster design, and, at times, awkward frequency of the spawning baddies.- ActionTrip

To put it simply, Port Royale rekindles the flame of oldies like "Pirates," which comes as welcomed refreshment and a decent challenge to the mind (too many games resort to the old FPS-style shoot to kill cliché).- ActionTrip

The game is ultimately very linear and shallow, and it doesn't do the comic book characters justice, but it's still enjoyable and addictive if viewed as a pure arcade action / beat-em-up experience.- ActionTrip

You'll be drawn deep into Brute Force until the conclusion of the game. Sadly, the abovementioned deficiencies throw the squad based gameplay slightly off balance and can turn the game into an average single-character oriented shooter.- ActionTrip

Merging the best of the historical strategies of Civilization and Empire Earth with the dynamics and appeal of the Age of Empires and C&C, giving this RTS the level of detail reserved for turn-based strategies and simulations. And the best thing is - this really works!- ActionTrip
