A game that'll only really appeal to established American Conquest fans and strategy gamers looking for a more complex game with which to test their abilities. Casual gamers will find little entertainment here, unless they persevere and attempt to breach the virtually vertical learning curve.- AceGamez

The Fast and the Furious will probably come off as unimpressive and forgettable - but if you've played Carbon as much as possible and you're still in need of your street racing fix then this will do you nicely for awhile.- AceGamez

PictoImage isn't a bad game, but neither is the version that you can play with only a pen and paper.- AceGamez

Pure D&D, with all of the good and bad connotations that carries.- AceGamez

The Battle of Argus is reasonably entertaining in short doses, but there's nothing revolutionary or truly engaging to keep you coming back for more - it's just a competent port of an old PS2 game whose mechanics and design are really showing their age.- AceGamez

If you’re looking for a song pack then, you could do a hell of a a lot worse than Party Classics, and it’ll probably come out quite a bit cheaper than raiding the DLC store – just keep in mind that’s all your buying.- AceGamez

Major League Baseball 2K9 isn't a terrible game but it isn't a good one.- AceGamez

- Critic Score
It's fun and bright, easy to pick up and play and has some moments of real humour in it. At the same time it's tacky and hackneyed, annoying to anyone not involved and lacks any real backbone of gameplay or narrative to support its weight.- AceGamez

The graphics at times look under-developed, which considering the 2D look the developers were aiming for gives you an idea of how far short they fell.- AceGamez
-
- Critic Score
A bit of a mishmash, not made any better by the ease of which you can wade through the myriad foes, or the rather drab and dreary (although perhaps intentionally so) graphics.- AceGamez

NBA Live 09 was so close to being almost everything I wanted from a basketball game.- AceGamez

The gameplay is rarely exciting, quite repetitive and often very frustrating; never a good combination.- AceGamez

If the Wii controls had been more responsive and a bit easier to understand when navigating menus, more activities and incentive to explore the sprawling environments had been included and the sound was more varied, then Barnyard would have scored higher.- AceGamez

FlatOut: Head On looks a bit like a nice slice of cake, but in reality it's more of a biscuit. It's not even a particularly pleasant biscuit, either; the first bite or two is nice enough, but after an hour or so you'll begin to taste the bitter unfairness of the AI, or the stale mini-games, or the… well, you get the idea.- AceGamez

The longevity is abysmal and the content is woefully limited, while the controls and overall gameplay are fine for a weekend rental.- AceGamez

Even though a lot of the features aren't put together properly and the sound and graphics are all outdated, it does manage to entertain you along the way - especially if you can play this through with someone else, particularly a child.- AceGamez

It may be worth a punt if you have recently bought a Wii, own four Wiimotes and are looking to show the unWiinitiated what the console is all about; however, if you're an avid Wii gamer then there are plenty of other games out there that will prove to be money better spent.- AceGamez

Due to its familiarity and the fact that there are not a vast number of additions to Elven Legacy over the original Fantasy Wars - the only really new things are the Elves and mission choices - I cannot really recommend Elven Legacy to players of Fantasy Wars.- AceGamez

Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles is a title with a few ups and downs, but the best way to describe it is as a 'cute' beat 'em up. Unfortunately, it lacks anything groundbreaking in its gameplay and aesthetic qualities. It's also just too short.- AceGamez

Whilst it plays fine and does everything you'd expect from a good racing title, it could have done a whole lot more.- AceGamez

Wanted: Weapons of Fate is a very stylish game that uses some very clever and entertaining mechanics and set pieces.- AceGamez

Runaway: The Dream of the Turtle is a decent adventure game that I do recommend, even though the control system on the DS leaves a lot to be desired; there is room for improvement and I'm hopeful that the developer will take this on board for future releases.- AceGamez

Despite the laundry list of problems that plague Warhammer 40,000: Squad Command and pervade this review, the game can be fun at times. That is if you're willing to fight through the frustration of playing through missions multiple times, either to cheat to find enemy positions or because you got smoked by an enemy tank off-screen.- AceGamez

You are indeed going to need a Will of Steel to play this game, merely because it takes tremendous patience to put up with terrible AI.- AceGamez

The wonderful presentation and tried-and-true game play will easily appeal to long time fans of the series who have yet to grow tired of what Capcom has to offer them. Everyone else maybe have trouble pushing through what is obviously a series in transition.- AceGamez

When you are attempting to implement two gameplay styles then you'd better be careful that there are no distractions or irritations to the player, or the tentative grip a game has to build upon will be lost. Stranger is still just clutching out with a gauntleted hand.- AceGamez

Graphically it's not up to the standards we've seen that the PS2 is capable of.- AceGamez

For a lighthearted dose of online vehicular manslaughter, Frontlines: Fuel of War is a mildly derivative fun couple of hours' worth of gameplay, if you can get it running and if you can forgive the ridiculous server browser, weak weapons and uninspired maps.- AceGamez

Tower Bloxx looks and sounds the part with its bright, colourful backgrounds and cheap and cheerful music.- AceGamez

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time isn't a lazy game, it's just that the template it's based upon is far too antiquated to meet the needs of today's gaming audience, yet not enough to satisfy dungeon hack enthusiasts.- AceGamez
