It's a good, solid game that has a tremendous visual appeal and is generally a ton of fun to play, but at the same time does absolutely nothing spectacular that hasn't been seen in any shooter before it and falls short of delivering a long-lasting playing experience that would justify it being a must have addition to your PSP collection.

An unashamedly old school survival horror game, so you should pretty much know whether you're interested in playing it or not.

Tamagotchi Connexion: Corner Shop 3 is a charming little mini-game collection with a range of simple activities that vary in challenge and depth but are all pretty accessible and easy to get the hang of for young children.

Sadly, Good Feel haven't provided enough in the way of innovation to the table to make Wario's latest pillaging of treasures and tropes a truly worthwhile experience, nor are their attempts at imitation anything more than adequate.

It's still a hack and slash game that does little to the alter template of the genre; it's good fun, but it's not memorable.

There is more than enough content here to keep the majority of fans happy for weeks on end – just expect the occasional twinge of disappointment to tarnish the experience.

Still, if you haven’t played Pro Evo on the PSP before, PES 2010 offers up as solid and entertaining a game of football as you are likely to find for your Sony handheld.

I wanted to be more positive about this title, but after playing the ultimate golfing game and then coming to play this - well, it feels like a giant step down.

This two-disk game retails for a reduced price, which is still a bit steep considering that there is not much content unless you explicitly look for it.

A solid platform action game that would be fun without recognizable characters. It's well balanced - easy enough for its core audience to complete while still being reasonably challenging - and the personality of the characters shines through.

It's unfortunate that the handwriting recognition portion of the touch-screen controls is largely broken (thank goodness it's optional!) and the presentation is as bland as can be, featuring only three generic background color choices and music tracks each, but even so, Sudoku Gridmaster offers a ton of content and just enough addictive gameplay to make any sudoku fan smile with glee.

Despite B-Boy's weaker points, there's nothing here that can take away from the main feature, which is the dancing itself. This has been recreated beautifully.

You're getting one fantastic game, two pretty darn good ones and one pretty poor one.

Of the 22 titles that this collection boasts, only a handful of them are worth shelling out your hard earned cash for.

Despite an almost abandoned lobby when trying to play online, something tells me that Monster Hunter Freedom has so much more to offer once a larger community of gamers get hold of it.

The game as a whole is very forgiving - too forgiving in fact. If you're an experienced gamer, or even an adult who plays occasionally, you shouldn't find the puzzles, bad guys, bosses or exploration too much of a hindrance and will probably complete the game in about 10 hours.

Its time-altering mechanics add a lot to what is otherwise fairly standard gameplay with standard weapons in a game world that's not particularly distinctive, and the end result is a game that's good but never quite rises to greatness, yet in some places comes tantalisingly close.

All the elements that make a decent console shooter are present in Turok: the sound, the gameplay, the weird and wonderful weaponry. They're all polished, but none of them are shining and the result is a shooter that should have been classic but is missing that vital spark that transforms a shooter from a bit of fun to a compelling and addictive experience.

Monster Hunter Freedom 2 might not set the gaming world ablaze with new ideas and boundary-pushing gameplay, but it further refines a genre of gaming that really seems to find a niche on the PSP - the action RPG.

Devil Kings is an unashamed Dynasty Warriors clone, which is great news for fans of the series, as it improves on many of DW's flaws.

Players who aren't willing to spend hours and hours crafting their dream tower and instead want a quick pick-up-and-play simulation will be very hesitant to pursue a career with The Tower.

It's not a game that'll rise over the better-publicised Battlestations: Midway, but Pacific Storm: Allies is more than just a cheap copy - it's a difficult but satisfyingly fulfilling game that those who persevere may ultimately find more rewarding than the arcade action that Battlestations provides.

As a fighting game, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm is a complete success. The extremely accessible fighting engine benefits from a great deal of hidden depth and a pleasing penchant for the extravagant, while the excellent camera, colourful cast and brilliantly over the top move list combine to create an experience that feels like a playable Manga cartoon. As an RPG-lite adventure however, it tends to come up a little short.

For those of you who like their games with lots to do or for those who just want to ignore the storyline and mess about by sitting back and watching their pet destroy their house one sofa at a time, The Sims Pet Stories is perfect. For gamers who want to relax in front of their PC, this might not be the best option.

Hardcore fans of any of the genres contained within Robin Hood: Defender Of The Crown will not be satisfied.

All in all, you know exactly what you are getting with Conan; a balls to the wall action game with little need for subtlety. This is big, brash and dumb as a bag of hammers, a relentlessly violent, uncompromising adventure that's fun from start to finish with a combat system that packs a visual punch as well as a technical one.

A sturdy title for those who know and love their third person kill-fests. Those seeking anything of a cerebral nature should go elsewhere and many may find the harsh difficulty and heavy repetition something of a turn off.

It's difficult to find a better party game for the PlayStation.
