Need for Speed Undercover is one of the biggest bluffs of this final quarter of 2008. Far from catching the spirit of Most Wanted, the game of Black Box fails in its proposal because of an excessively easy campaign and because of its "shock-car" style driving.

Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe has failures and highlights. Its short value is a very serious problem, and you will surely ask for more. But the attractiveness of its proposal, the new gameplay add-ons, and the strong -although conventional- multiplayer are reasons enough to pay attention to this game.

If we add the power of "Assassin's Creed" to the Tony Hawk's videogames gameplay, probably the result would be this title. It lacks of some game's modes, but it's still an interesting option to discover a genre like snowboarding simulation in the next-gen.

Animal Crossing: City Folk is a conservative videogame especially recomended for people who never have lived in the Nintendo's animals town. Everybody else should value if the lack of novelties are not enough to avoid a new mortgage in Wii.

Sacred 2: Fallen Angel may contains some programming errors, but it's one of those titles that role "hack 'n slash" PC game lovers won't want to miss. It's long, it's cheap and it's a good reason to continue trusting in the PC platform.

Mirror's Edge is a videogame that definitely deserves a try. Its short length is the only complaint we can mention about the campaign, because its an incredibly innovative title with a very powerful graphical side and an addictive gameplay proposal. A nice launch for this new saga that replaces the word 'brief' with the word 'intensity'.

Red Alert 3 is a remarkable RTS. The tactical aspect is weak and we could name it "the arcade version of the RTS", but is also fun and cool at the same time and it works fine with the Xbox 360 pad. A blockbuster entertainment that prioritizes the aggressiveness and the speed, than the intelligence or the smart tactics.

Dawn of the New World is a worthy sequel that reflects the good state of the franchise. A deep story, charismatic characters, an impressive soundtrack... This new iteration can be considered as one of the biggest RPG for Wii.

Despite its quality Banjo Kazooie is a videogame very difficult to locate, especially because it refuses the legacy of the previous games and because it's friendly looking masks a gameplay deep and sometimes even complex. Brainless car racing, engaging vehicle creation and plenty of fun are its main values.

Jedi battles come to Wii in an interesting but limited videogame because the wiimote still hasn't been able to emulate the light saber's performance. This new disturbance in the Force has created a passable but fleeting and incomplete title. If you would like to become a Jedi, be careful, because this game couldn't be enough to complete your Padawan's training.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 seems to be, again and lamentably, a lost opportunity. This could have been a great chance to vindicate the lost football throne, to demonstrate to the skeptics that they are cappable to make a great game, and to bring some light to a saga that is suffering, overwhelmed by new titles.

World at War is a great new entry in the epic saga. The new Call of Duty just misses the inspiration that Infinity Ward brings to every project, and which Treyarch still aspires to. This new game offers everything we were waiting for, and has better value in its co-op campaign.

Call of Duty: World At War for Wii has been developed thinking of the potential of the Nintendo console, being better than the thrid installment of the franchise. The atmosphere is amazing with brilliant audiovisual components. It's a great experience in the campaign mode but the multiplayer is limited. The best World War II shooter for Wii.

Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia is an entertaining spin-off of the original franchise and a sequel of the first Pokemon Ranger, with a similar look and feel in graphics and playability. The capture technique has improved being more easy to play with better results. This sequel is a good and fresh option for the pokemon fans.

Smackdown VS Raw 2009 is a step ahead for the series with new games modes with a perfect recreation of the WWE television experience.THQ needs to fix the poor collision detection and improve the combat system because is a litle simple and repetitive. It´s the best wrestling game but has a small problems to solve in next games.

Gears of War 2 is the kind of game that third person shooters should try to imitate. We are not talking about the chosen theme or its tactical arcade scope, but instead we want to point out how well the console resources have been used in order to get an impeccable gameplay. A must have. The total shooter.
