Ashen has some very good moments, and some others than can be ruined due to a terrible artificial intelligence. I fought along and against this AI to the end of the journey, in a very polarizing game. Some people will enjoy it a lot, and some people won’t connect with it.

Shift 2 is again a solid iteration to continue building a simulation saga for Electronic Arts. Unleashed tries to accomplish as many goals as its first entry but doesn't quite manage to fully achieve them all.

Borderlands 4 delivers, which is no small feat considering the astronomical bar BL2 left behind over a decade ago. Gearbox is well aware of their own successes and wrongdoings and aims for something traditional, yet modernized —a goal that translates into a solid main campaign and several small-scale adjustments and QoL changes that brings the whole thing up a notch. Gorgeous vistas, great campaign, much better controls. Performance sucks big time, though. [Recommended]

Cities: Skyline is one of the best modern city-builder games of the market. Its support of modder community will bring us greats joys.

Ghostrunner is a fast, gory and thoughtful parkour game set in a cyberpunk environment. Every challenge is built with a puzzling, Portal-esque gimmick where platforming and combat must be executed swiftly and flawlessly since everything is a one-hit K.O. The result is a crazy fun experience that speedrunners will love thoroughly, as well as a good test for Nvidia's latest tech on PC.

Everspace 2 departs from its predecessor to adhere to the Action RPG formula in the looter shooter style. Does it suit it well? No doubt it does. [Recommended]

A remarkable port for one of the funniest and more interesting open worlds of the last years. The Ubisoft game looks amazing on Nintendo Switch 2, with a great performance and interesting features, like the gyroscopic controls or the use of touch screen. [Recommended]

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon debuts on Nintendo DS with a classic chapter adapted to these times. The deeply interesting story of the game with many characters to recruit and different strategies for the victories offers a unique experience. The most important feature is the online mode, simple but correct in its way. This is one of the best games to come out this year for Nintendo DS.

FAR: Changing Tides is a beautiful side-scrolling video game whose gameplay is based on a visual narrative, sailing a small boat and solving small puzzles that present themselves as obstacles. [Recommended]

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow works nicely on PC, a fantastic adaptation of this action adventure.

It has some new mechanics, kitchens are crazier and adds multiplayer online. Overcooked 2 is a good sequel, but it lacks ambition.

Fun, challenging and very distinctive new edition of the classic Skylanders franchise. The introduction of the vehicles marks a new future for the saga.

Ilomilo is a nice puzzle game with a great artistic design. A game full of charm and personality.

This beautiful JRPG has been a really good surprise. You can play it without knowing the previous games, and if you do it you're going to enjoy a great journey with funny battles and a really good exploration. [Recommended]

Ubisoft brings to us Dawn of Discovery, a great adaption on Wii of the PC series. The great controls take advantage offering a good and deep gameplay. A enjoyable game in a RTS genre what works perfectly on the Wii.

Vessel is an amazing puzzle game with varied gameplay and ingenious challenges.

4A Games leaves you no choice but to engage with the gameplay of Metro 2033 because of its dark tone and great story. Hardcore gamers looking for a unique experience in PC ultimately will be rewarded by this atmospheric and fast-paced shooter.

Captain Toad is a smart and marvelous puzzle game. An excellent game for Wii U.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is one of the best remake works we have ever played. It has a classic feeling, but it's also something new, considering the 25 years have passed since the launch of the original game in Japan.

Mario and Luigi share a new RPG adventure that is funny from the begining, give us surprises until the ending and offers plenty of hours of enjoyment and humour. Recommended for Nintendo 3DS owners in general.

SteamWorld Heist is a great turn based strategy game with a brilliant art style and good action.

Plenty of power-ups, speed and adrenaline. The last game from Bizarre Creations is a great success for arcade racers.

LEGO Batman 2 is a magnificent new entry for the LEGO Games saga, offering new game mechanics and lots of hours of enjoyment.

Chaos, frenzy and a great cooperative action game. Helldivers is an awesome game for those who want a top-down shooter to play with friends.

Once again Level 5 delivered an engaging and very well designed puzzle adventure game. Not the best in the series, but nonetheless an enjoyable experience.
