Sir Lovalot is far from a complicated game, but that is its charm. It's purely a game that you jump (pun intended) into for 5-10 minutes just to see if you can boost your high score a tad further. It's cheap, it's cheerful, it's worth a play.- 148Apps

The Simpsons Arcade is a decent side-scrolling brawler, but there's no getting around the fact that it is sorely limited by having only one playable character and no multiplayer options to speak of.- 148Apps

Silverfish is a fantastic example of what you can do to take well-known genre influences and mix them up to make a fresh and addictive game.- 148Apps

If you like action games that make you think, Silent Swords ZERO is a great choice. The graphics are cute, the controls make it fun, and the levels themselves are well-constructed, though somewhat linear.- 148Apps

Shining Force is an underappreciated classic, and while its age sometimes shows, it is a good port by Sega to iOS, and a great representation of a strategy RPG worth checking out to this day, at a fair price.- 148Apps

It's fun to play, easy to pick up, hard to master, has great animation, quirky style, humorous level dialogue, and has enough levels to keep you entertained for a good deal of time. What more could you want from an iPhone game?- 148Apps

One of the most polished, well designed tower defense games in the App Store. Each of its 20 levels are extremely well crafted, and the additional units, weapons, and RPG elements all come together to create the best game the series has to offer.- 148Apps

The nicest thing I can say about Dr. Who: The Mazes of Time is that it's a game; beyond that I have no more kind words.- 148Apps

You won't fail because of the game's inadequacies. You'll fail because of your own doing. This does make for an acquired taste.- 148Apps

Much like its predecessor Carnivores: Ice Age is all about being different and being intelligent in its portrayal of the genre. If you weren't taken by Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter this isn't for you. If you were though, this is a worthy addition to the collection.- 148Apps

Rhythm game fans would do much better to stick with Rock Band and the Tap Tap series, as Guitar Hero is just a flashy bundle of mediocrity.- 148Apps

I like everything about Gravity Runner except for the game itself. I love the concept to death. I think that done properly, it could be an incredibly fun platformer, one that could really play with gravity bending the way that this does. But as an endless platformer, Gravity Runner just does not work.- 148Apps

But the challenge and relative complexity of Gravity Hook HD are part of the package – this is a game that is unashamed to be unforgiving, and if you can appreciate that, you will likely appreciate Gravity Hook HD to be more than just the typical pick up and play game, but what makes it unique keeps it from being truly great.- 148Apps

While Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for iPhone offers a similar experience to its console counterpart, it won't be the 3D graphic-intensive one you were probably hoping for. That said, the game combines the use of brilliant on-screen controls, immersive objects and environments, comic-like visuals, and supreme attention to detail throughout to bring the first version of the GTA franchise to iPhone.- 148Apps

Their whole existence as a band made up of digital characters seems like the perfect makeup for a great video game, but instead the developer went with a safe clone of another game. It almost feels like they didn't try.- 148Apps

Technically the game is fantastic. The graphics are great, the controls are responsive and well done, and the soundtrack is just fantastic. The only real hick-up I found was the occasional heavy frame dropping on the mushroom world of Sporelle.- 148Apps

Before you decide on purchasing the fairly pricy game though, just know that there are very few graphics in Football Manager 2011. You aren't really playing soccer, you're just managing your team.- 148Apps

It's a bit more confusing than its predecessor, though-the time spent wading through conversations and dealing with the bizarre levelling system isn't really fun. On the other hand, its story features actual characters, which is a nice change of pace.- 148Apps

In the end, FIFA 11 will probably hold your attention longer than most other iOS sports sims, but it won't keep you playing season after season. The game itself, for what it is, isn't bad but the virtual joystick does become grating after long plays.- 148Apps
