Let Them Come is a pretty cool gallery shooter, but it’s still just a gallery shooter.

I'd love to see a console port and a sequel would probably make me vomit tentacles of joy. There's certainly plenty of untapped material in Lovecraft's shared universe to work with.

Do you love Bioshock? Have you always wanted to be able to play it on the go? Well then your prayers have been answered. More or less.

It might be heavy on the exposition and light on the camera control, but this is one solid free-to-play that usually always has something for players to do. Being the boss of a secret organization created to deal with extra-terrestrial activities sounds like a fantastic job, and thanks to Men in Black 3 I'm even more inclined to believe it.

The game mechanics tie together neatly so Grow Away! proves to be excellent fun. Levels gradually work their way up in terms of difficulty, ensuring that players never feel too out of depth or patronised. Grow Away! is near guaranteed to offer hours of vegetable flinging fun.

Another addition to a classic gaming series, Metal Slug X is a remake of the original Metal Slug 2 and incorporates some new enemies while maintaining the same classic gameplay.

It looks like EA Sports has finally discovered how to tread the line between free-to-pay and pay-to-win. Simply put, they finally figured it out.

It may be an abridged version of a classic 3DS game, but Rhythm Thief & The Paris Caper holds its own and is both a charming and enjoyable rhythm game.

It’s really tricky to create satisfying traversal challenges when you put players in control of an object that can move freely in any direction. I have a lot of respect for Witcheye for taking on this huge design problem, especially since there are times when the game really feels like it delivers compelling solutions. Unfortunately, these moments are spread across an uneven experience that is hard to control.

It's a stunning game to look at but even for a JRPG nut such as myself, it lacks any real passion.

Alien: Blackout looks great, but doesn’t quite capture the feeling of being stalked by a Xenomorph.

Fun to play in short doses, Fairway Solitaire Blast isn't quite as addictive as its predecessor was. At least not yet.

Slipping and sliding around areas is more fun than smashing walls down, but Escape from Age of Monsters makes up for any potential tedium with its beautiful art style and varied selection of power-ups. It's a fun ride that will keep players coming back for more for a while to come.

It's tragically funny when a concept that shouldn't work actually does, but ends up not being any fun thanks to a punishing IAP economy.

Swing the Bat lacks the utter simplicity of Tiny Wings and the artsy feel, but it replaces them with its own unique design and challenges, plus it has multiple modes and it's universal.

The whole experience is technically sound, but something felt lacking. It's a solid game with a pretty face, but it is missing that special element that makes some games great.

I have a hard time believing that NBA Hotshot will be anyones favorite app of all time, but for a short diversion from a persons commute or excruciatingly boring office meeting, this one may do the trick.

The frustration factor of Gear Jack took this from being a solid auto-running platformer into another game on the scrap heap for me. This is the kind of game that despairs me: it's a title with such promise, but it gets chucked away by its frustrating level design. It's a shame.

Amazing Ants is a fun game with great levels, controls, and graphics. Unfortunately, the gameplay suffers from the amount of ads and the constant need to accumulate enough coins. I really wish this app was a couple of buck and had no ads, with cheaper items in the store. However, I still recommend this app since the levels and gameplay are so good.

Great graphics, strong platforming mechanics and a mostly flawed (though sometimes smooth) combat system make Shadow Guardian a tough game to rate.
